Wow i cant even begin to explain how i feel right now. Ths is my last letter that i will be sending home from the misson and i have alot of mixed emotions about this. AHhhhhhhh.

Well this week went great. We had alot of miracles and just saw the Lord bless this area which once was not doing so well. This week we had the opportunity of baptizing a joven named Edgar. He has 13 yrs and just the most humble kid ever. His sister which is a convert introduced him into the church and he had been going to church for the past 3 months and the missionarys before had never invited him to be baptized. This week we met him for the first time and realized he was ready and we invited on wed of last week to get baptized 3 days later and saturday and he said yes….it is just a matter of inviting and testifying and helping them feel the Holy Ghost. His mom who did belive in the Santa Muerte is getting baptized next weekend.

This week on wednesday………….my last baptism here on the missoin is going to be of 2 jovenes that mi and elder Larsen found while on divisions the 3rd day i was here in Papantla. There names are Raul and Giselle. The spirit truley guided us to their house. It was at night time and we were almost going to go home but decided to go look for a contact we had made in the street. But we couldnt find it. So we decided to head to the house but i felt to not leave yet and i turned around and just saw a house and we went and knocked it and this little G-ma let us in. We invited her to get baptized but she didnt really accept. So we were about to leave and her grandson came in Raul……and we said “hey kid we were just talking about baptisim and would you like to get baptized.” He accepted and we went back the next day and his older sister came down, Giselle, and said, “i want to get baptzed also.” The greatest and the strongest tool we have as a misisonary is the Spirit and i have learned that i we want true converts and people who are just READY to accept the gospel in their lives we just need to listen to the spirit. It is the simplest principle but the most important one and the Spirit will convert them alone. With us being the mouthpiece for the Lord the spirit will convert them.

I really love the mission with all my heart and it really does make mi sad to leave dedicating 100% of my time to the Lord. I know that this was and is the only time i have been and will be soo close to the Lord in my life and for that i will be forever grateful. THe scripture in DyC 18:15-16 talkes about if we bring 1 soul unto God, i believe that one soul to be our own personal soul and salvation, then goes on to say how great will be our joy if we bring many souls, Those i believe are the converts and people we touch in the mission. The first convert of my mission i believe was mi and my personal conversion and i know the mission saved my life and through that personal conversion i have had the joyous blessing to help save many lives which has truley brought mi more happiness then i have ever expirienced. i love the Lord’s work. And it brings tears to my eyes to leave it. I love mexico and the mexican people. guess i will have to find them in the USA.

Thank you all for all you have done for mi in these past 25 months. See you all soon.

Love you all long time

Elder Minetto

p.s. mom i would love just lots and lots of italian food and no chicken. or soup. hahahahahahahaha.

Well this week was wayyyyy goood. Just alot is going on and i have 100000 things running through my head. SO i have just come bacl again form Tajin. i dont know if you guys looked it up on the internet or not but it is sooooo cool. I just cant get anough of it and here in Papantla there is this cool thing called Voladores. They are these guys that climb up a huge long pole and they have no safty harnesses ni nothing and one dances on top of the pole and there others ahng by ropes upside down and fly around in circles. You got to looke it p in the internet. it is crazy and here its a tratçdition so they d it about every 30min or so and it is cool. Its hard to explain by email.

So this week we had more changes on wednesday cause with these mission cahnges presidente wanted to mix up the whole mission so that we were all working the same way. So on wednesday had more changes and we gt another companion elder gil. He is form oaxaca and is leaving at the end of this change. He just barely went up as zone leader this change so im trainging 2 but they really pull there own weight. WE got changed also on wednesday to Papantla. the main city. There are 2 chapels here in the city and 4 wards. WE are in the area Manatiales. Papantla is really not a big city……..well its not a city at all. The biggerst store is a SuperChe……which is the size of a dollertree……well i think a little smaller. But the city of papnatla has soooooo much cultre. But there are soooo many baptisims here and just so many chilrdren of God just ready to get baptized. We got here and the elderes before us had already baptized a lady but she didnt get confirmed and the elders had not left us nobody in teaching and really didnt leave us much to work with but we knew that we could find someone and if we want a mricle and pray for it and live worthally, we will get it. So we went out and found one more for last week and his bane was Iran. He was just sooooo ready and willing and wanted to get abptizd sooo bad cause he wanted to go on a mission. WE met his girlfriend and she is getting baptized on the 24th of this month.

Also This week while i was in divisiones with another elder called elder Larsen( he is also form my generation) we found a sweet family. It is the g-ma and her 2 grandchildren. we were looking for a refrence and we just felt the need to knock a certin door and they recived us and they are getting baptized on the 24th as well.

Well Papantla is golden and i love it here. Tahnks you al for the love and support.

Love you all long time

Hola familia y amgios.

Well mom accept him your facebook. That is the kid of a guy we baptized like 3 weeks ago that had been going to church for 6yrs. Right before i left veracruz, they came and visited mi and gave mi letters and all. Tell him hi for mi and i will wirte him in about 3 weeks.

WEll im here in a little town called Gutierrez Zamora. Its sweet. But presidente will be taking us out this wednesday and moving us to the city of Papantla cause the Zone Leaders need to be in a more central part of the zone and this little city is about 45min from anything . So on thurs mi and the ones who extened our mission got like a free day cause the mission changes took effect on thursday and on friday we were going to have a multi-zone conference with the new missionarys from the other mission and presidente wanted us 7(the ones who extended) to be there and there we were going to meet our comps and got to work. But he had nothing for us to do no thurs and wanted to give us something special so he gave us the free day on thurs while presidente and his wife went around and visited to new elderes. So us 7 got the mission van(its like the huge wilders van) and we went and toured the stateof veracruz. wheeee. We went to a couple pyramid sites and to a couple beautiful beaches and then we ended te day going to a pyramid place called TAJIN. It was the coolest place i have ever been in my whole life. I thought it was going to be like other ones just a couple of small pyramides. Buit this place was a whole ancient city with a bunch of HUGE pyramids…but i mean a city. It was the crazyest thing i had ever seen. And on the sides o some pyramids there where encient carvings. IT was the CRAZYEST and most COOL thing i had ever seen. Then went and met up with pres. hansen and he took us out to dinner and then we stayed in a hotel….the nicest thing i have ever been to in my life.

On friday we had the conference and it was great. i met my comp. His name is elder cook. He is from phoenixville, Philadelphia. He is the coolest and most humble guy i have ever met. SO the whole day we were in Poza Rica for the conference and by the time we got home it was 9:45pm. So we didnt get to work. But we had 2 baptisims on satuday of Eduardo and Julia. They lived in a little pueblito called Calichal. There are about 3 streets and 1 little store that sells cips and soda. And no cellphoone service. The church there is made of stickes and palm tress leaves. And they were baptized in a little stream. But the pueblo is about 1 hours form our main area and so by the time we got back it was like 5pm and so the whole week we only worked on saturday from 5-9:30pm. So mi and him where praying for miricles cause they had no one else to baptize the fololowing weeks. So we worked like animals and we found 5 new people and went with some old investigatores and this week we will have 3 baptisims and next week 2 more. WE had a cool expirence. Mi and Elder Cook really wanted to find a husband and wife. SO we were asking for references and nothing as we were walking we both stopped at the same time and looked at a house and looked at eachother and said ” ya this one feels right” . We knocked the door and elvida came out with her husband roberto. They accpeted a baptisimal date and went to church. The Lord really will give us the miricle according to the true desire of our heart.

One man named Hno Lino went to church yesterday an d while we were in the sac mtg i asked my comp who was he, he said “hno lino this is his second time at church but he is a huge time testigo de jehova” so i told my comp, ” ok after the church services we will take him directally to the baptisimal font and invite him to get baptized for this week”. SO we did and as we invited him this was what he said ” well i was just waiting for you guys to tell mi when to get baptized”. That is an escogido and there are a billion here. WE jsut need to open our mouths and share this wonderful gospel with everyone and the Lord will help us.

Well on wednesday i will be in a new area and check out Papantla on the internet. its cool. Lots of history. Well i love yo all lots and thanks for everything.

Love you all long time

Hola familia y amigos

WEll the title explains it all. this was one of the probably craziest week of my life. Just full and full of emotions.

I HAVE 2 YEARS IN THE MISSION. WHEEEEEEEEEE. So i will start out with the baptisms 1st. THis week we had the opportunity of having 5 people that got baptized this week. They were all super super chosen and the services we super special. Just to let you know i’m super tired from a loooooong weekend of being in the mission home with my generation that sent home except a couple of us and we didnt get toooo much sleep at all since friday.

So this week from hortalizas ward got baptized samantha and her g-pa efrain. They are members of a part member family and efrain lives with his daughter and her family. But never got baptized. one of his kids that lives in Chiapas, mexico has her kid that is actually serving a mission. But they were just chosen from the second we got there and they opened their hearts and just let the spirit touch them and change them. The hno efrain works on the weekends playing music and gets home in the morning at like 4am and is always super tired but he loves the church and understands the importance of it and he knows that with great sacrifice brings muchas blessings.

Also miguel got baptized. He was a man we found knocking doors and he was ready form the start. He really had the desire to change and his family wanted him to change cause he drank alot but he did it through the power of the atonement. He is always so willing to learn more and more. Its way cool.

Also a man named Leonardo that has been going to church for like almost 1yr got baptized. He had never wanted to get baptized cause he always wanted to learn ” more” . but about 1 month ago he went to church and i told him, ” ya man your ready, get baptized already” and he said no but we talked and put a really far away goal for 1 month later and he felt more comfortable and got baptized. It felt really wierd to put a baptismal goal for so far away. Usually its for 2 weeks later or if not sooner. but never later then 2 weeks. And also a kid named ivan. He was actually going with the sisters in our zone and they finally confessed that he was from our area but he still didnt want to get baptized. So we went to visit him with the sisters and we just taught him about baptism and invited him for that same week and he accepted. The sisters freaked out cause they couldnt believe he accepted. But when we are obedient and do things the Lords way, he blesses us with what we truly desire.

So this week was crazy cause we completed 2 yrs and my group of missionaries (my generation) went home today except a couple of us who are extending. And pres always does a couple activities with the generation before they leave. It was from fri-mon.

Fri- WE got to the offices of the mission and pres took us out to eat Tacos al pastor yummmmmmmm and then we went to the temple with him to go do a session. That temple trip was the most spiritual one ever. In my generation we are 17 in total.14 gringos and 3 mexicans. And we are all really really close and best buds. I had some spiritual experiencees there in the celestial room that really brought the tears. I love this work. then we went to the offices to sleep.

Sat- WE got a free day to go visit whichever area we wanted. So my MTC comp and one of my best friends in the whole world, elder taylor, went to XALAPA……… ahhhhh it was cool. Elder Taylor had never been there but told mi, “elder minetto, we started the mission together, we are going to end it together”. SO we had a blast and i saw a bunch of my converts and it made mi realize that this really is the Lords work because i could see that they were still active and progressing.

Sun- WE went to church in just whichever we wanted. Then we had to be back to the offices because pres. hansen was doing interviews with the elders that left today. And elder taylor left so we went and hung out. Then at 2pm pres. hansen gave all us a talk about what are some keys factors to staying active and having success after the mission……my eyes were really opened about ALOT of stuff. Then at 6pm we had dinner in the house of pres and hna hansen. Guess what we ate…………STAKE and POTATOES and ROLLS. HALELUJAHHHHHHHHH. Then each elder shared an experience from there mission, i shared the one about how i got punched. Then we got to share our testimonies and then we went back to the offices and pres was there doing office work for until like midnight and we were all up talking. Then mi and elder carter and elder moyar were there in pres office just hanging out when we left and we asked if we could sleep in his office…….yep, i can say i slept in the pres office…..it was sweet. jijijijijijijijij.

Mon- today we got to the airport at 6 am and elder taylor was the first to leave. He is one fo my best friends and we all lined up to hug him i was the last and he nor i had cried but then we hugged and the water works went off for the both of us (thanks mom for those). But it was hard to see him go. ALso the same thing happened when elder orozco went. he was in my zone for these last 2 changes and we grew to be bast friends. Love those guys. WEll we finished and just 8 of us stayed 7 zone leaders. we went back to the offices and pres. pulled us into his office and told us what is going to happen this week and these next 4 weeks. He will be moving us up into the new part of the mission and will put 3 of us with the 3 zone leaders up there to help out and just baptize. I will be one of those and its humbling that the Lord trust in mi for that. Im going to a city called Papantla. It has a bunch of History and its supposedly super pretty. My changes will happen on friday but on thursday pres. hansen is taking the elders that extended to a Payrimid place super famous called El Tajin. Its very very famous. look it up. so he is taking us there. cool huh.

But it had been a looooong week and just full of blessings and miracles and i have no doubt in my mind that it is cause when one is obedient and follows the whisperings of the spirit, the Lord blesses us. That is a testimony i have and love this gospel and i testify its true. Thanks for all . love you all so much. also mom….you like talking to elder holman last week. jajajajajaja. it was cool. he was super happy. hahahahaha.

Love you all long time

Well this week was way good. We had AOT of success and things ahve just been going right along and the Lord had been blesssing His work and His servants alot. So 2 funny stories before i get to the good sstuff.

So The other night we had an investigator named Ulises. Well we already dropped him but we had the funiest expirence with him on the phone the other night. So he called us the other night and my comp, elder melchor, who is mexican, answered the phone. So the started to talk but my comp kept saying¨huh¨, like he couldnt understand him, cause Ulises tended to talk erally fast and sloppy. So i guess my comp was not understanding him at all…..and why wasnt he, i do not know cause he is the mexican. So my comp goes ¨uhhhhh hold on here is elder minetto¨. ANd i talked to him and after i got off the phone i was like ¨dude, if you didnt undersatbnd him and you are mexican and speak his laguege, what made you think a GRINGO would¨. And we just started busting up laughing. It was funny….well for mi anyway….maybe you just had to be there but we laughed our little behinds off.

Also about 2 nights ago i had a nasty expirence. So i sleep on the floor cause i dont have a bed frame thing. I just have my matress on the floor. So the other night i was sleeping and suddenly i woke up cause i felt like i had something crawling on mi, so i looked around and nothing. I just it was my hairs moving on my leg from the fan. So i went back to sleep. Then i woke up like 3 minutes later and i brushed my leg off just to check and i hit a huge cockroach and brushed it on the ground. So i jumped up and grabbed the cel phone and turned the little flashlight on cause we dont have light in that room and looked and it was crawling back up my matress to attack mi again. so i grabbed my flip-flop and did what mom and dad have always taught mi and i smazhed it to china with my flip-flop. These are not small either. They are like the size of a missionary plack. hahahaha. But im used to it now cause we get alot in our house. hahahaha. funny huh. i bet i have eaten one in my sleep….i ho`pe not.

WEll this week was great. WE had some great expieirnces. So this week we really saw the fruits of our labor. We we able to have 13 investigators in church this sunday and they are all great and really looking to progresss. WE found lots of new people and one of those new persons is Uriel. So on tuesday we ate at the house of my converts form Isla that live in my new ward now. We went and there was a friend of the son. Uriel. We talked with him and just joked around with him. He has 17yrs and is super fasanated with talking to a gringo. So we have a tons of fun making fun of my accent and stuff. hahahah. And on sunday he showed up to church. He was just soaking in everything and you could tell the spirit was really toching him and making his heart change and was already being converted. A girl was talking about dress standerd in the sac mtg and said boys should came to church in pants ans shirt. He was wearing shorts. So he leaned over to mi and said ¨ ooooops, next week i will come in pants¨. It was funny. But he will be getting baptized next week. the miricles and change that people have by simply keeping a commmandment of God make all the difference. Like kateliin i to have learned the importance of the Sabbeth day and how cruicial it is to our personal growth.

Well also this week will be getting baptized a investigator that t has been going to church for about 1 yr. And is now finally getting baptized. SOmething that mi and my comp have been doing this whole change that has helped us have ALOT of success is this. So we get to a house and its the first leasson. And its commandment in our mission that we have to invite them to baptisim with a spacific date on the 1st leasson. So we got even simpler. We just go in and start up the leasson and start off with baptisim. WE teach them vary briefly what is baptisim and whats it for and then testify and invite them. The first leasson really takes about 5min now and really helps us know and feel and discern who are the ready people. Sometimes people say no, and that doesnt mean they are not ready or the choosen, but in that moment we have to listen the the SPirit and make a desicion to drop them or continue. Its quiet the expirence and has helped us to use the Lords time more wisely to beable to be more efficeinte.

Well the Work is going great and my testimony is being built up. This week on friday i will be going to the offices and spend the weekend with my generation whom there time is to go home on monday……imagine that if i didnt extend my mission i would be coming home on next monday…..in 1 week.Wheeeffff good thing i extended. hahahahaha. But on friday we are gonig to the temple and saturday they give us the day to travel to wherever we want….so im going to xalapa with my MTC comp Elder Taylor, to see my converts. And sunday are interviews with presidente. And monday my generation leaves and some of us stay and go back to work and next week they will nçmove mi to a new area in the new part of the mission.
WEll this week was a week full of miricle( wheeew). So i was typing and there is a power button on the keyboard right by the backspace button and i have huge hands so i puxhed it on accident and wabam. bye bye everything. hahahahaha. But we are back on track.

Its toatally raining here. thanks for sending the rain to Veracruz….ahh im not a huge fan of the rain cause its alot harder to preach in…..but not impossible. So we do what we can. Also i cant believe you like mondugo katelin. I love all mexican food menos mondugo. Hahahahaha. they also ask mi what i like to eat and i say¨i eat everything menos mondungo. ahhahhahaa. And Mole is the bomb. I love it. Its so delicious. I could eat it everyday. Also today we had a zone activity and it was so mexican the zone activity. So we rented a futbol feild and we had a futbol tournament. ANd so the gringos could redeem thereselves from the shame the mexicans put us to in soccer. WE played some american footbal. It was sooo much fun. Then after we went and ate Antojitos, Its like empanadas, picadas, gordas, tostadas. Sooooooo delicious. I officiallyu dont want to come home for i will miss the food sooooooo much here. Also on sunday they sneak attacked mi in sacrement mtg and called mi up to give a talk……hahahahaha. i love that and it had to be mi cause my comp goes to a different church building so im the only elder in the ward. But i think i maneged, i have had some practice just like elder dalton says. hzhhhhahaahahaha.

Well this week we had the blessing of having 3 baptisims. First i will tell you all about Rosy. She is the friend of Sonia and Diana who got baptized 2 weeks ago. She has about 55 yrs and every time we went to the house to teach Diana y Sonia she would just randomally show up. So she went to the baptisim of Sonia y Diana and after we asked her how she liked it and she said ¨great, im already preparing my baptisimal clothes¨. She was super ready and just a humble lady who wants to serve and follow Christ. She and Sonia y Diana are now missionarys of the Ward. And dont know if i told you. Miguel, who got baptized like 1 and half months ago got the Melquizedic priesthoot 2 weeks ago and is now our ward mission leader. He is the man. Sorry i gave him that oil holder you guys sent to me. Cause they are expense here and not that nice.

Well i had talked to you guys about an ¨eternal¨investigator that had been going to church for the past 6yrs with his family whom are all members. But we had that super spiritual leasson whith him and everything changed. He also entered into the baptisimal waters this week. His name is Alberto. His wife couldnt believe that he was atcually going to get baptized. SHe told mi that so many pares of elderes and sisters had tried to get him to get baptized but never did. She said how did you guys do it. I said it is just his time and we happened to be lucky and blessed enough to beable to be here. Really the missionarys just are blessed enough to find the poeple whom its there time to get baptized, we are just tools in Gods hands. The bap`tisimal service was a vary special one and the spririt was super strong there. One service i will never forget.

Also Jaqueline got baptized this week. THis was a miricle. She has 28 yrs and is the only one in her family that was listening to us. SHe loves church and the whole time we were teaching her just was always kind of shaky about her baptisim. But we helped her recognize the answers that God was sending her and she decided. She had her baptisim set for saturday at 4pm. On saturday morning we get a call at 8am and it was her saying ¨elders i have decided and im not getting baptized, i need more time and i have already made the decision, im not getting baptized yet¨. WE said ¨we will see you at the church at 11am to talk¨. So we got the church and we went to a room and started talking. She was really set on not getting baptized for questions of her family saying to her that it was too soon and doubts she had. WE talked a long long while and i could feel the spirit testifying to her directally and it really was a talk of spirit to spirit. At the end we invited her to pray right in that moment and ask God if she was to be baptized that same day at 4pm. She looked at us like, its still not happening. We left the room and waited outside. As we waited we also prayed, but knowing that no man could ever change a heart like hers needed to be changed in that vary momnet. We pleaded for the miricle. She ended and opened the door and we all sat down again. We asked how it went and what she felt. And she said ¨God ansewerd, and i need to get baptized today¨. My testimony grew on how this is no mans work. But Jesus Christ and His Fathers work. And we are not her to convince people, but convert them.

REally there are so many miricles that we will beable to see if we but do our part and ask for them. My presidente once said ¨elder, thats what you get for praying for a miricle¨. The church is true and this is the Lords work. well thatnks for all the love and support. Sorry if i dont write real letters to anyone that has çwritten mi cause i will probabaly get home before the letter gets there. hahahaha.

Love you all long time

WEll this week was a great week. did i ever telll you all its super hot here. And what katelin wrote about going back in her air conditioned apartment was funny…..thanks for rubben it in. hahahaha. I dont think i have been free of sweat since ive gotten to veracruz. Last night i couldnt sleep vary well because i kept waking up and just sweating my brains off and my bed was all wet. hahahahahahaha. But i wouldnt trade it for the world.

This week was a great week. We had the opportunity of witnessing and participating in 3 baptisims. They were Simona and yessie, and Teodoro.

WEll i will start with Simona y yessi. There are a mom and daughter. There are from the new ward we picked up. Actually about 3 molnths ago when i got here presidente called mi and asked mi to go do splits with the elders that were in that ward to helpo them out alittle and to get rollin. So i went over there for a day and in that day we had a blast and the Lord blessed us with miricle upon miricle. That day we had found 8 new people and put 9 baptisimal dates. It was a day i will never forget cause the Lord was truley working with us. In that day we found Simona y Yessi and i felt and knew that they were to be baptized. They were supposed to get baptized but for one reason or another….they didnt. So i kept telling the elderes to go back but they didnt and they just got put in the old investigators pile. So right when we got this new ward i told my comp…..lets go baptize Simona y Yessi. So we went over there and they were SUPER excited to see us and i asked them what happened…..why they hadnt gotten baptized. They said the elderes just stopped coming. But in this moment i knew and felt that it was now there time. They are the humlest of humble people. They dont have a floor. its just dirt and there house is made out of lamina(im not sure if thats a word in ingles, its like tin kinda). But they had a broken heart and a conrite spirit and gave reason to the SPirit when it testified to them and that madethem the choosen and ready.

The next is a man named Teodoro. He is a man with 80yrs and my comp and i call him our grandpa. One day a member told us some missionarys were teaching a girll in a little cuarteria….its like a gate in behind it are like 5-6 little rooms. So we knocked and they all told us she left. So we were about the leave but we saw a old man sitting in the back just watching T.V. So i shouted and he didnt hear anything, so i shouted again and nothin, then the last time i was like im going to have a little fun with him so i shouted…hey do you want to get baptized……and he heard and responded…. my neck hearts really bad. So we went in, and i was alittle hesatent but we went in and gave him a blessing and then taught him. WEll turns out he lives with his daughter and 2 grandchildren and they are all inactives members. So we helped reactivate them and he got baptized. He loves church and when we pass for him he is always ready to go and just loves the gospel. The Lord really prepares His children and we just need to find them. The sciptures teach us that the ¨Field is all white and ready to harvest¨ And that we are her to harvest, not prepare …that is the job of the members and angels and lots of other things and people. But we need to find the choosen and just harvest. I have been putting that to the test and really seen the blessing that come from that cause we dont waste time with poeple that dont want to progress and with people whos its no there time. Its something that impacted mi alot when a coule months ago we had the Zone leader council with pres johnson, the pres de area. He said ¨there are thousands and thounsands of mexicanos(or americanos or whichever) PREPARED to be baptized¨ Sweet huh. Its like an easter egg hunt……..hahaha alright bad comparision. couldnt think of anything alse.

WEll thank you all sooo omuch for the love and support. you will all be so blessed for it and keep sharing the Gospel. Love you all lots and i CAN wait to come home. hahahahahahaha (sorry mom) hahahahahahaha

Love you all long time

Wow if you havent figured it out yet i am totally running out of ideas for my subject line. I usually just put what comes to my head first and its usually something like…..wheee or hooorawwww. hahahahha. i dont even know why. hahahahah. I have been in mexico too long…..nah i think im going to extend the mission for another 14 years. Serve looooong missions like they did in the book of mormon. hahahaha.

No i dont think i need journals. I dont think they will get her in time. I think it will last. thanks though and i havent gotten the package yet. hahahahahaha. Whooooooo. tracy and carlen are going to BYU-I. When did they get out of the beehives.????. Man im old. hahahahahah

WEll this week was great and full of little surprises and miracles. Pres said to mi the other day “well thats what you get for praying for a miracle”. So this week on wednesday we had a mission conference because of the mission split. And it was sweet. there are alot of new missionaries who i really dont know now. wierd huh. But it was sweet because i got the opp of singing with the presidente in front of 184 missionaries with my one of my best friends e. carter(hawaiian) hahaha. and 2 other elders. We sang some with piano and other acapella. It was a great spiritual experience to be able to sing with our presidente. also the ones who it is their last change they have to give there testimony…..like a goodbye thing. So that was also hard for mi but not at the same time cause i knew i was staying and i still had time so it hasnt hit mi too hard but it did a little bit. enough to get the water works going. hahahahaha. that comes from mom. thanks mom.

Well this week we had 4 miracles enter into the waters bautimales. 2 of them were Sonia(46) and her daughter Diana(16). THey were just the most chosen and ready people. The lady who gave us the reference really listened to the spirit to preach to them and they were ready for it. They had a huge change in there life and really are progressing alot. Its amazing. Diana at first didnt want to get baptized but she found what she was looking for and is doing great.

Also enrique got baptized. He was the one i talked about last week where he had never wanted to get baptized until last sunday when we took him to the baptismal font and the Spirit testified to him of the truthfulness of the gospel and wraught a mighty change in his heart. He was super excited and has alot of support under him and her said that that is what he needed in his life.

Also a girl named monserath(22). she had had a rough life before and is a friend of a ex- missionary. The ex- missionary(luis) would take her to church before his mission but then he left on his mission and she stopped going. then he came home about 3 yrs ago and forgot about her. But then a little while ago he came back into town and we just asked for a reference. And yep. She had to make ALOt of changes but she recognized she is never alone in doing things and the Saviour really helped her carry her burdens. And trust mi they were alot. Al trusting in the Lord all is possible and the promise he make about coming to Him and our burdens will be made light will happen depending our faith in Him and we need to Believe Him, not just Believe in Him.

WEll thanks for everything and keep sharing the gospel. Love you all lots and keep on keepin on.

Love you all long time

Hola familia y amigos

Well this week was a blast. So i got a new comp and all and it was really fun. His name is elder Melchor. He is from Acapulco…..So when we want to go vacation there we got our house. weheeeee. He is good. he has about 17 months in the mission and really good and just loves to work hard.

So this past week we started the new transfer and so we are zone class and its always fun to gather the zone up and all and have a ¨Pep-talk.¨ Its cool cause as a leader in the mission we have the blessing and the right to receive revelation for our zone or district etc…. So under the power of prayer my comp and i decided on a couple of topics for the pep-talk and we assigned them to the district leaders. One elder goes….¨wow elder minetto how did you know that, that is what i needed.¨ It was a great testimony builder for mi to know that God watches out for his servants and sometimes the revelation will be for 1 person or for a lot…..we never know but we just have to obey. I talked about the obedience. A point that i feel so strongly about since being on the mission. I have grown to love this eternal principle in which rest all our blessings God has for us.

We had a great experience yo and Elder Melchor yesterday. I was in the new ward we have called Hortalizas. Its crazy cause every sunday we have to do splits and i have to go to another church building and do the church services by myself….well i have a joven as my comp but they don’t do much…its kinda stressful but fun. And during the sac mtg a lady bore her testimony and talked about how she had gone through the temple 1 month ago and her husband isn’t a member….as she said that the Spirit made mi know that her husband was ready for baptism. So after sacrament i asked a few people and they told mi her husband has been coming to church for 6yrs and all the activities but hasnt gotten baptized. And usually upon hearing that we think ¨eternal investigator that doesnt want to progress¨. Well he was in church and i put and appt for that afternoon. we went over and had a lesson with mom dad and 3 kids. Upon staring the lesson and getting everyone gathered you could tell the spirit was very strong. We talked and bore testimony about temples and the power of the priesthood and how it blesses families and mi and my comp both talked about our personal families and by the end of the lesson the Spirit had touched him in such a way that his heart was changed and as his family embraced in a hug he started crying and said ¨ yes i will get baptized the 5th of june¨. Well i, like katelin said, have learned to hold my emotions back and not cry in the lessons but there was something different about this one that just touched mi and everyone in that room was strengthend a little more and the Spirit created and atmosphere like Elder Holland said that ¨the investigator nor missionaries will want to be outside of that certain place, almost a tangible feeling¨…. it truly was a little piece of heaven in that home in those moments and an experience i will never forget which will serve mi in the years ahead.

So after my services ended mi and the joven rushed back to the other church building and got there for the last 30 mins of the other service. I saw an old investigator named enrique that mi and my last comp had taught that never wanted to get baptized. So i said hi and just trested him very lightly. But something told mi take him and show him the baptismal font. We did so. Mi and my comp talked to him about the baptism and invited him to get baptized this week……..the spirit also just changed him and you could see the change. He accepted. We went outside of the room where he saw one of his neighbors that is a member and he said ¨im getting baptized this week¨. She stood there in shock and couldnt believe what she was hearing and enrique started crying and saying this is what he had been missing in his life. Man i love the mission

This week we had the privilege to baptize nataniel. He is a kid of 11 years and all his family was inactive. He is super smart and it was a great service. We looked for him for like 2 weeks straight but could never get a hold of him. But we followed and the patient persistence payed off.

Well i love this work and this week we are having a mission conference before the split of the mission. So it should be good to see everyone and just learn from the presidente and by the spirit. Thanks for everything and keep up the good work and progressing and keep having those spiritual experiences. We have them everyday….but its us who fail to recognize them. Love you all

Love yo all long time
