well this week was great.

Guesssssss what. I got the packages. Yayayayyayayayaya. THEY are AWESOME. i really enjoyed them alot. Especially the candy. Theat bag of 50 peoces of reeses didnt last vary long…..  hahahahaha. But thanks. i got both packges. yayaya.

SO mexico is treating me great. I keep having dreams at night about ANTS, I keep waking up and thinking that they are alll over my bed and crawling on me. Its so annoying but oh well. If you cant beat them, join them……wait, dont worry, im not going to become an ant of anything. hahahaha.

Well this week was great. First we had an activity en Coaztacolchos. ANd it was with all the youth of the stake. ANd we went to go visit inactive members and all. It was really fun. Casue it just seemed like yesterday that i was a youth. TIme really does fly and we really cant waste any of it. Bu we had fun. We didnt actually find any of our assigned people to visit. But nonetheless, it was a great experience to help and visit the youth. Speaking of missionary acticvitys. We are setting one up in our ward that will sta<rt  this week. We choose 9 familias out of our 2 wards and told them that we are gettting a new missionary with us and will be staying with them for three days while we figure things out. And we set some rules and stuff… but what they dont know is that we really are not  gtting a new missionary and its really going to be a pollito, a little baby chicken. And that will be there missionary. So we are going to surprise them with that. ANd when these pollitos are all alone they cherp alot. ANd the CHerping will be there to remined them to think of references for us and they have 3 days with these pollitos to give us 4 references. And are supposed to prayfully seek for these references. SO im excited to know how it will turn out. i will keep you all updated. yaya.

THis friday we had the bautismo of Marco. He is nthe brother of a convert of 3 months. ANd marco is awesome. Super nice. He really had to overcome alot to get baptized. ANd  i really learned about how to pray with Faith and always keep a prayer in your heart. I know that it was through prayer and his desier that he was able to overcome his addictions. it was amazing to wastch and see his transformation and just see the light that he had. His brother badtized him and it was so great. The spirit there was so amazing.

ANd in church yesterday the mom of alohndra, who got baptized last week, really gave a beautiful testimony in the gospel principels class. She is not a member but has such a strong testimony and comes to church every sunday and all. its so cool. But we are just waiting for her to get baptized. The day will deff come.

Anyways. we are having a great time working here. Its great. the Spanish is coming along. At times i realize that im in mexico speaking another language alll day everyday and im able to understand it and all…..for the most part. But its sweet. im really really enjoying it. THe people in our ward tell me that im a mexican because i eat mor hot food and salsa then them. its funny. It kills me, but its so good. hahahaha. Oh by the way. THis morning i got to try Mondongo. it is cow stomach……and i allmost threw it up. hahaha. they all told me that they have never met an american that likes mondongo. I looked like i was eating raw tounge with the tecture and all. hahahahaha. yep. but i tried it.

Buenos buenos.

Shoot. this week was great. Sounds like everything is rocking and rollin back at the homeland. THe Beach sounded awesome. So dad is now a prune huh. hahhaha. nice work papa.

Brent. so what i think that you need to work on the most is…….. ah there is really so much. i think the pronunciation is good… but just learn how to congegate verbs… fast. and how to understand native spaeakers. just learn as much words as possible. The pronunciation will come i think. And they are able to understand pretty much all. Just learn really how to congegate and learn lots of verbs and words. hahahaha. sorry. thats all i got. But ya. shoot me a letter or an email. which ever. i only get letter 1 every month.

SO this week was fun. it was my comps birthday, and so we decided to invite some investigators and have a little fiesta. vary little. with pastel and stuff. it ws fun.  THis week im going to start to teach the primary kids songs in spanish for a activity they will be having. It should be interesting becuase i will prob be teaching them the wrong things to say. hahahahaha. oh well.

Oh ya. my eye is infected. it happens here when its hott and cold all the time. and just lots of dirt in the eye. so its kinda big and weird. i dont know but it should peace out soon. hopefully. hahahahah. Nothing deadly i think.

oh tell brent to bring lots of mosquito after bite. not repellent. cause its hottttttt here so its gross to put on. you just get bitten and put after bit stuff on. You will mosquito bites on you 24/7. hhashahah. no joke.

ANywho. glad to here all is nice and flowing like water over there. here its really going. SO this week we had a baptisim of a  little girls named Alohndra. She is 9 yr old and just the most percious little thing on this planet. She is always happy and juust smilng. Her mom is great and super nice and realy loves this church. But she is not married to her ´´husband´¨ so she cant get baptized yet. sad huh. She even cried the other week in class cause she was telling us a story about how her daughter decided not to get baptized and she was relly sad. but then decided to after seeing a baptisiim and feeling the spirit. And she started crying when ALhondra said she wanted to get baptized. Its sad that the mom cant get baptized. But i have faith that the Lord really has a plan for everyone of us and she will get baptized soon.  But this week we have a baptisim of marco. He is the Brother of a convert of like 4 months. He is buenisimo. He used to drink alot and smoke, But stopped it all while taking the leccions. He is stll working on smokng becasue it is really hard to stop but he really has great fith and a huge Desire. ANd  i know the Lord will bless him. Cause when the Lord sees the Desire, he will bless us according to his will.

 VBut  we have been  getting vary blessed here with our baptisims. The members are really helping us out. Almost all our baptisisms have come from refrerrels from the members. Its great cause they already have a friend in the church. SO not only is it alot easier to convert but the retention rate is alot higher. Cause they kinda stick together…..if that makes sense. it made sense in my head, hahahahah. oh well.

ITs great here though. Its actually pretty cold right now. its freezing at night time. I die cause i only have a sheet but. But its deos get cold. ANd rains everyday. hahahha. its good old OREGON right now. Just cant get away

Well i should get some mail and packages tomorrow cause we have the conferences manana. so i  should get something at least. i wil let you all know. yay. thanks for all the love and support. i really love all ya and keep on keeping on. Share the Gospel.

Hola ya´ll

Well this week was great. Mommy and daaddy. i havent got the packege yet cause i only get mail once every transfer so i will get it next week when we ahve our conferencia. I will let you know when i get it. And if i ever take money out of my account i will let you know how much so you can monitor it.

Well this week was great. Just to let you all know i now eat breakfast evey once and a while. cause one of the members took us shopping and bought us all these goodys. But we were so happy we ate most of it the first couple days. hahaha. but we do eat sometimes now. its great.

SO no food storys or anything too sweet. I did get ROCKED in the EYE with a limon. Soo we were walking down this callejon which is a litlle ally typpe street but has houses- not sure how to explain it. But we were just going to an appt. and i was walking behind my compenero and nexzt thing i know a limon comes flying through the air and peggs his shoe and explodes and a piece went into my eye. Let me tell you a little story about limon in the eye…… IT BURNS AND STINGS. hahaha. so i  went running around screaming. hahaha. it was funny. Apprentally some kids were just messing around. and since im a missionary we just kept going. silly little kids. But all is w3ell. We are working hard and just preaching the good word and giving them heaven.

But the real highlight is we had 3 bautismos. ONe was a girl named rosita who is 18 yr old and her mom is catolico and dad is jehovas witness and her sister doesnt beleive in GOd. (this just proves the SPirit really does convert) SO it was a great baptisims. SHe is the friend of a convert. So that was helpful also. But the other 2 were two brothers luis angel and jairo. They are the kids of and inactive family that we found and are reactivating. So that was awesome. THere were lots of members there. But we just set dates for 3 kids from a convert we baptized 3 or 4 weeks ago. they didnt listen to any of the discussions but they are now. So im excited for that.

The work is really moving. Im really seeing the LOrd bless us and seeing the fruits of our labores. A family that we baptized 3 weeks ago is really srtong in the church and they love it. Its great cause they really do not have anything. But they are so humble and giving. They feed us sometimes and i really feel bad at times cause they dont have much but they are so awesome. Love em Muchisimo.

But Sorry this letter is soo short. gotta go do my laundry. THanks for all the support and love. It really sounds like al is going well at home and the Ward is doing great. Talk with everyone and share the gospel. ITs amazing.

Just delicious american treats. Bastante por favor. Lots and lots of them. And what ever else you think i need. oh and could you send me lots of smerican stamps so i can send letters throuhg pouch. its alot cheaper. please. thanks. I thinki will get that first box you sent in about 1 or 2 weeks when we have a conference.

ANd dont worry about the whole diharirra thing. Its slowing down. hahahaha. Just incase everyone wanted to know.  hahahah.

Well thanks to all for all the letters im getting over the email. Its so awesome to here ffrom everyone. And its great cause everyone tells me jokes. Its hard to tell jokes in spanish when you dont even know w¡how to talk in español. hahaha. but its all good.

So this will be short cause we got to go soon. But this week i  discovered the greatest thing on this earth. so my close to favorite food behind Garnachas are Empanadas de queso. And a member took us out to eat one day and he told me that we were going ot  have giant empanands. yay. then we went and they were the biggest thing ever. It was like the size of a mediun pizza or something.  It was delicious. But as you can imagine it made me sick the next mornig. hahah. I usauall get sick when i eat moore then once a day. cause its just toooooo much food. hahaha. wierd huh..

So our new casa is way sweet. but one night it was storming really bad and we woke up to our floor flooded. hahah. yep in our new casa. But it was because the one door didnt have a barrior around the door. so that next mornig we  had our land lord  man make one. Lots of things we had to throw away. But waht has sweet is where all the Books of Mormon were, all the papers and stuff around it got damaged and we ahd to throw them away and the cardboard box with the book of mormons  was soaked like crazy, like faling apart, so we figured that they were gonners. But then we started taking them out and none of them were wet. And when we took our all of them none of them were wet at all. And the inside of the box was not even wet. hmmmmm. yep.

But things got cleaned up and all is well.

This week we didnt have any baptisim because of conferencia and we ahd to go to Coatza. like an hour away. But it was amazing and i learned so much. I dont even think i bliked once during all three sesions on saturday. Its amazing the spirit that we are able to feel through the apostles of our Heavenly Father. They really are directed and guided by God. ANd its awesome when we can have the spirit and really learn with an dfrom the spirit.  Its amazing, but sad its only every 6 mnths. Then on sunday(yesterday) we had conferencia in a members house who had it on his T.V. and we had over 50 members there which is awesome because we dont even get that many to church sometimes. and we had 5 investigators there. Its was amazing. I wastched most en esapnol so it was a little mor difficult.

But we have two baptisims this week and really excited.

we have great new investigtors with fechas for this month and its great. The ward mision leader is helping us out sooo much.

Oh and so we recived new counsel that every misionary will be in an area for a minimal of 6 months. crazy huh. its a prety long time but it gives us time to get things orginized and going. So im excited to get this place off and runnign.

WEll sorry its shorter but i gotta go. THAnks for all the help and support and love. I love this GOspel so much and it has cahnged so many peoples lives here. I cant even expalin waht this Gospel and its Perect Plan of happiness has to offer to everyone. yay. LOve you all

5 bautismos!!!!!!! Tyler’s letter of 9/29

WOw. hola familia y amigos

Well first dad. I only eat 1meal a day. And ya. still eating one meal a day. its crazy. its kinda like a fast sunday.. but everyday of the week, hahaha. its fun. all good. ANd im not allowed to drink the water or even brush my teeth with it. BUt i can eat any of the food. ahahah. BUt the way. Yesterday i had the great opportunity to Eat COW UTTER. hahahahaha. it was horrible. Becuse it felt like i was eating straight fat from a chicken and it was in a taco. i almost yacked. hahahaha. but its all about the experince.  ANd this week on like tuesday we prettty much ate ants for lunch. it was funny cause the miembro just left the dorr open and the food out for us cause we got there a little late and she had to leave. ANd so we got there and  uncoverd it and there were so many ants so i picked up my plate to bruch them off then they started crawling on me. so ii threw the food on the table and went runing outside. hahaha. kinda embarassing. but i  ahd a couple bites of rice but kept finding ants in it so i just didnt eat. ahaha .i  have pics so you wil see them sometime. I have not gotten the box yet. in a week or so i should.

But this week was great. we had a multi zone conference where we learned that they are joining 2 zones into one and doing that with a bunch of the zones cause we will be gettting a bunch of new missionaries…like BRENT HOLMEN. HECK YA. and other reassons.  ANd a new program where we have to get the infrormation of peoples baptisims and everything for every member n the ward…active or not. mucho tiempo. But it fine, we were asked to. ANd we might get put into a three compañionship. crazy huh cause we are getting mas misiosnaros. yay.

But te weather is crazy. Just floodes everyday and its pretty cold. hahaha.

But this week was a vary special week for bautismos. Becsuse we had the pivalige of having 5 on saturday and then they all recived the Holy Ghost on suday. I got to baptize part of the family and  Elia. a 19yr old girl. IT was my first here. And it was the most amazing feeling i have felt in my life. ahhhhh. I cant even explain it. It was better then any preasent(sorry mom and dad, your preasents were still awesome)hahah. or anything. but it was great. The family is so great. THe mom and dad, ANdrea y Remigio and then 2 of the kids luis and laidi. There were other kids but they were not vary receptive to the gospel but we are still trying to work with them. ANd we also found a mom and here daughter and the have a bautismo date and are varyexcited. our goal is to baptize every weekend and the Lord is really blessing us right now.

Then one of the friends of Elia who was at the baptisim came up to us after the Baptisim and said that she wants to be apart of this church. I kbnow that the holy ghost touched here durante the  baptisim. It was amazing. She wanted to get baptized this coming weekend but we couldnt bause of conference and we have to go to another city for the two days to watch it cause there is no where here to watch it.

But my testimony just grows everyday iwht being here. Its crazy. And i love it and would not trade it for anything right now.

Any who. We got to change casas this week cause ours just keeps flooding and our new casa is the sweetest thing ever. its like the size of our family room. Its sooooooo sweet.  i love it. so much space its beautiful. But our bathroom doesnt have a roof. so its kinda awkward at times. hahaha.

Well this is short cause we gotta go.

But really quick family. Did you get my envolope of letters i sent home a while ago????

When are javin chase and greg going into the MTC????

ANd  tell everyone to eamil me stll but im only going to write family emails back and letters to friends cause i just dont have time. And i think i am going to send the letters home and if you could to distribut them???? cause it alot cheaper. But that might be alot of work for you so just let me know what to do.

ANd soome time if you could send me 2 gig or somthing jumpdrive cause i want to put all my emails that people send to me on that to keep cause this inbox gets full really fast. thanks. sorry i keep asking for stuff. lo siento.
