Letter Nov. 17

HOla familia y amigos

Pues, this week was fun fun fun. Just  doin the greatest work on the face of this earth. hahaha. oh. i didnt get your letter. i got one last week with pictures but im pretty sure dad sent it. And if you could send me those address i needed in the last letter that would be spantastic. hahaha :) Did you all get my weekly letter last week. let me know. Did you already send a packege??? cause i just found out that the nexzt time i will be getting packages and stuff will be when we go to the temple the 17 de december. ANd that will be the last time until sometime in January. yayayayay. Just let me know. im sending the disc of picture this week. I really am. Seriously. no really. I am. :)

WEll this week was way crazy. First let me tell you a little story about how it is ridiculosly freezing here. not even funny how cold it is. So the begging of this week it was hotter then hott. Like sweating my brains out. THen all the suddon it got freeezign and vary vary rainy…..oregon anyone. ahahaha. i feel like im in oregon. But it started on saturday and we went the dedication on sunday in our suites and it was soooooo cold that we decided to just track in our suites for the whole day. hahaha. and this morning all the people were making fun of me cause im from the united states and i was cold. they were all saying this is my weather and all. hahahaha. But they really know im actually un mexicano. :)
So we started a new cycle of 6 weeks, called a cambio, i honestly cant think of the word in english right know.ahhhhh. brain hurts. hope you all can figure out what im talking about. ahahah. sorry. BUt im going to kill my comp this cambio. at the end of december. Not literally but he is going to ¨die¨ and im going to ¨kill¨him. yep. THats all the change for me. I will probably be here until febrery.

Well at the begging of this week we started teaching this 15 yr old kid named heraldo. He is way cool. He is a friend of a convert of ours and about a week ago was in a motorcycle accident becasue they were all drinking and his friends nerly died. SO he told us that he wanted to change his life and stop drinking and smoking and really get to know God and have that change. Sometimes people really need something dramatic happen to them for them to realize how much we need the GOspel in our lives. But we taught him the first leccion and it went really well and two COnverts were there, one that we baptized named Marco. ANd we asked him a question about how he feels about the church after being baptized, and he started crying, and bore his testimony about how much the Gospel has changed his life. It was a blessing to see him grow and learn in the Gospel. THen Heraldo offered the last prayer of the leccion. ANd something that hit me hard when he prayed was that he said in his prayer, ¨thank yoiu Señor for helping me find the true word of God¨. It was so awesome to hear cause i knew that the Holy GHost had touched his heart.  but he is great and i will keep you all updated with him.
We also had the opportunity to go to the dedication of the Mexico City temple. It was sweet. Really a beautiful site.  Temples are amazing and they are truly the house of the Lord. And seeing the Kingdom of God expeand on this earth with Temples and such is awesome. ¿did yoU ALl get to see the temple Re-dedication? hope so.
Welll sorry this is so short. But there is not a whole lot of new new news. WEll thanks for everything. all the love and support. Love you all.

Love you all long time,

Hoooooooooola familia y amigos.

Well its way good to hear from all of you. ANd ya that word was a Transfer. Sorry about the Spanglish. hahaha. i guess its kinda a good thing. Lets hope i get that packege in dec because if i dont i wont get it till feburary probably. hahaha. ahhhh. if you havent already sent that packege when you get this could you send the face wash stuff i used before my mission. just one bottle to give it a go here. but if you sent the box. dont worry about it. thanks thanks thatnks.

So they dont so the whole Tahnksgiving thing here sadly. But the family of the Ward mission leader (they are not members) said that we have a Dia de gracias mexicano style. yay. So we are going to have Tacos al Pastor. ahhhhh so delicious. dont worry. i will send pictures. THe people here are awesome. Oh, so the same family is buying mi some herb stuff for my face cause i am breaking out really badly and i have literally tried everything, everything from a plant that i squezze juices out of to this wierd cream. SO im going to give this herb stuff a go. hahaha. THey are funny cause they are so straight up to you. i love it. they always ask me about my face. hahahah.

Welll this week we put up christmas light in our casa. hahaha. i think its way to early…..but my comp couldnt wait any longer. hahaha. hmmm. :)

WEll not a whole lot new. THey might join the wards here bacuse yesterday we started church with 6 people….including my comp and i. hahahhha. so that is a really good possibility. who knows though. But in the other ward. If you all remember that joven named Heraldo. He has a baptisim date for the 13th of dec. so we are really excited for that and are really looking forward to that. We have more people this week we are going to put dates with. The Lord is really blessing our lives and is really pushing the work forward. Its great to see. THis week we got to teach in the pueblo of Tonala. Its a small little pueblo that is on the beach and has one cement road and alll the rest are of sand. So its really fun cause you can always see the ocean or the river. And the people there are sooooo nice. just super humble people with the biggest hearts ever. They are great. (we get to baptize in the ocean there, for real) But we are in the process of teaching some people there. the only problem is that it is 40 minutes from our main area. its great though and i love to teach there. We are workng hard and this is the last TRANSFER :) of my comp so im right there to kick him in the pants if he starts getting trunky. hahaha. thats way cool about rebecca rohmhields thing. Sounds like she is doing great. tell her to write me some of those experiences with me. :) but all is well here. Just loving it. Not much knew happend this week. Thanks for all the letters of love and support. you all are a huge example to mi. THanks for everything. Love you alll mucho.

Love you all long time

Hola familia y amigos :)

Well familia. Fo the christmas box……Just lots and lots and lots of home made stuff….like cookies. ANd nothing that i got to cook. Cause i never ever do. hahahaha. Ssame old Elder Minetto who couldnt even make toast…. hahahahaha. But what ever you alll send i will love it. no worries. Oh can you send me the address of ELDER DALTONS mission home please. And the Address of the Mtc address of Javin SMith and his mission address. THnaks. love lots. :)

But to answer some of the questions. I have had my comp since i got here and he wil be my compenero until he leaves the 31 de deciembre. THen i  might get transferred or stay here but the president told me that i will prb be here until febrero. Yay. ilove this area and there is so much work to do. Its all about the Talk that president Uckdorf gave in the last general conferrence. Its all about lifting where we stand and not to worry about, ¨oh if i was in a different area i could baptize more, or if i was a district leader or a bishop or a young mens president i could help so many more people put¨ its true we could help more people out. But why not just lift where we stand and build that up first. The Lord knows whats best for us and will put us where we need to be. Its something that helps me out cause alot of the elders are like, man thats a long time you will be in that area. hahahaha. silly eldres.

Well im going to send a CD with pictures home this week sometime. so let me know when you get it. SO this will prob be the last of my Tarantula Stories cause Mom is probably freaking out by now. hahahaha. So the other day we were in a house teaching a family and there is an american girl from tuscan AZ livivng with them(i will tell more about her later) but we were sitting there and she yelled TURANTULAS. So i looked back and there were 2  Tarantula just chillin behind us like 2 feet away. so we tried to catch them but they ran behind the door which my chair was dirictally infront of but to my back, so i couldnt watch my back at all. And so my comp just sat back down, and i didint want to look like a wussy gringo so i sat back down. THen we started teaching again and in walked one of the sons and yelled at me WATCH OUT HERMANO. so i looked back and the TARANTULA was crawling up the leg of my seat, And that is where i dropped the whole Macho Man act and started running around like a little girl. hahaha. So then they killed it. Yep. They are huge. But they are huge and nasty. you will see a pictures of them when i send them home. hahahaha. yep. Good ole mexico. Hope brent is excited. its fun. always got to be on the look out. :) But we just got back from the Beach today for a preperacion day activity. IT was fun and i got fried. We are allowed to walk in the water up to our knees. But no swimming of course. But it was fun and beautiful.

Well this week was difficult. we are having a difficut time finding people through these list that we are updating for the church and we have to dedicate ALOT of time everyday. BUt the President promised us that if we work in these lists, that the LOrd will bless us. ANd i know the Lord wil keep his promise. So we are woirking hard in those and hoping that they will turn out.  RIght now we are teaching this interesting familia. SO we found them trough the list and the night we found them they all came out to greet us and the girl spoke to me in English and said where are you from. But i responded in Español, cause alot of people say little things in english to me. :) THen i asked her a question in spanish and she  looked at me and said¨SPEAK ENGLISH¨ hahaha. so i did. ahaha. but she has been here for a year and i s from TUscan Az. i think TUscasn. or pheniox. who knows. but she is living with her boyfriend and there familia. BUt they are really nice and hopefully they will progress.  Well things are going great tand the lord is reallly blessing us and i can feel his love everyday. THese people here are the best and soooooo loving. I only wish i could be as loving and generous as these people here. THey will offer everyhting they have to you just so you will be happy. Its humbling.

Well thnks for all the love and support. I love you all and its good to hear all is going well back at the home land. In the CHristmas box just lots of delicious candy and homemade stuff if you can. ahhhhh. and whatever else is my favorite. i cant think right now…..NUTRAGOUS. the candy. that is the only request. :) thnks all. love yall lots.

Love you all long time

Hola familia y amigos

Wow. Sounds like everything is really flying by at home and everything is rreally going great. Its good to see that the Lord is watching over all of you. yay.

Yes mommy. i got the rasor and the net and the jumpdrive. THank you vary vary vary much. ANd yes,. the 50 pack of reeses is gone.  My comp didnt like the taste of the candy. wierdo huh. hahahaha. he didnt understand why us gringos like penutbutter soooooo much. hahahaha. silly compenero. hahahaha.

And the  pictures of haloween were ridiculoulsy funny. hahahaha. Its good to see that dad is still rocking the NERD business even after college. hahaha. just kindding papa. by the way. papa means potatoe and the Catholica Pope. hahaha. i was talking with someone and they she kept say papa. and i coulndt figure out why she kept talking about the pope, but she was actually talking about potatoes. hahaha. silly espanol. ANd i already put the Imodium to good use. All the people laugh at me here cause i cary around with mi pepto bismol and imodium. hahaha. ANd last night i got my official “you are now a mexicano” annointing. cause we were eating. and they were surprised on how much hott stuff i eat cause i eat more then half the natives, and then they all told me that i have style when i eat tacos. ANd they were loving it. not sure what i was doing. But they were loving it and they told me that i am officially Mexicano. yayayayayaya. im never comin home. ahahaha.

Well this week was a little a llittle more difficult becauase we did not have running water for almost the whole week. ANd we have this big cement thing out front with water. but its getting low. uh oh. But i learned how to shower out of a bucket of water and a cup this week. Its interesting. :) But who honeslty need agua. becasue one the sister of the leader of misional gave me a gift this week……….a PILLOW. haleluja. ahahaha. I finally got a pillow. i was sooooooooexcited about that. yep. But she is not a member so that was cool.

But this week was a little more difficult. we did not have any bautismos. ANd we didnt get to work in our area a whole lot because my comp is disrict leader and we ahd to go to alot of other areas for interviews. and the closest area to us is 1 hour away, and the furthest is 2 hours. so it was vary time consuming. But we know that the LOrd will bless us becasue we are doing what he asks of use and he will take care of the rest. That is one great thing about the Gospel is that WHen we do our part the Lord always uphoolds his part DyC 82:10.  But this week we got to go to Coatzacualcols for a conferencia of thd stake. It was greta. learned alot of great things. ANd we had one of our iinvestigators there to the preishood sesssion that is going to recive the priesthood next week. THen one sunday him and his 6 of his kids came to the session and they really enjoyed it. It was neat just to see there love grow for our savior and his gospel in such a short amount of time. THey are AWESOME

But we had a neat experience on wednesday. We had a family home evening with the ward mission leader and his family. ANd his family is alll catholics. But they aare awesome and always feed use and we wash our cloths at there house. SO they are great. But we had a family home evening with them and we decided to only talk about Jesus Christ. ANd i talked about the Birth. But then we all shared o9ur feelings about him after ANd it was amazing the feeling that we all felt. Becuse  one of the brothers has troubles with alchol and is married to a member. ANd they all fight alot. But the great thing is when they were all there talking about Jesus Christ and what he personally did for us, the Spirit was so strong and touched all there hearts. THey all were crying and everything. THey are such amazing people because they really know how to express there emotions and it is beautiful because we can really see the light of Christ in them. Ahhhhhhhh. it was a night i will really never ever forget.

WEll i gotts go. But thanks for the emails…and fotos. YOu all are amazing. I lava you alll and thanks for the support and love.

Yayayayayaya. LOve you all.

Love you all long time
