Hola familia y amigos
well the title is because for this month as a mission we hit 217 converts in the month of october. I didnt put that number to brag or anything but merely show that working by faith and dedication we can. That is the highest we have gotten. great stuff.
WEll i have my new comp now. His name is Elder Lopez. He is from the D.F. O sea CHILANGO. He is way cool. he speaks lots of ingles ……so now he can help mi with mine.
hahahahahaah. but he is the man. The new changes are doing great. we have some new elders that are just ready to rock and roll and are full of energy and that is exactlly what we need.
This Friday we had the Zone Leader Counsel in veracruz. We went up on thursday night to
and slept in the offices to be there on time on friday all ready to learn. It was cool
cause all the zone leaders stayed there and so i got to chill for a little while with my
other buddys. ahhhhh gooooood times. hihihihihihihi.
The consejo was vary good like usual and i learned alot. We got to hear different things
that other zones are doing so that we can apply that in our zone and help ours out and
others. One thing that has just been hitting mi hard is the Faith. If we just simply
believe that we can find and baptize…..that we will do. Its just that simple. But we
all know faith without works is dead. SO then we got to do our part to expect the Lord to
help us out. But all will be awesome and we are going to tear it up.
WE also did a follow up capacitation with all the mission teams of the stake. It was fun
like usual. My comp and i gave the 1 hour presentation. Still get scared. hahahahah.
This week we had the opp to baptize viki. She was great and so willing to change and
let the gospel in her life. we did the service with the sisters service of a family they
baptized. that spirit was strong.
well this week we had a cool little experience. SO we ate with a lady i had NO idea who
she was and where she lived. But i called her and we found her house. She opened the door
and i still didnt know who she was and had NEVER seen her in the ward before. But as we
entered the house, without even talking to her about her family yet, i got this HUGE
impression that someone was going to get baptized from that house. We started to talk and
she told us that her husband was not a member and went to the general conf. and liked it
and wanted to receive the leassons. And she thought the best way to invite us to give him
the charlas was by inviting us to eat with them. SO her husband came home and we ate
then gave him the first lesson and put a baptismal date with him for the 7 of november.
And he accepted very humbly. It was a great experience.
WEll thanks you all for everything love you all lots. Love love love. The church is true.
and yes mommmy i got the package. thanks for all
Con amor

Hola familia y amigos
WEll this week was super duper great. We had a great week. WEll alot happened but at the
same time i cant remember it. hahahahha im getting old. the mission seems like one huge
blur.
WEll right now and for the past week we had one a elder from our zone with us. His name
is elder Judd. He is from Arizona. His comp went to the offices. Anyway. so we worked in
his area and ours the whole week . but it was good. We had alot of fun in the house. we
would play soccer and all. hahahahahaah. Intense soccer games. hhahahaha. borede
elderes-. But the real story is the 4 people we had the opportunity of baptizing this
week.
So the first ones is a mom and his son. Delfina and rey. I told you all about them last
week. They were great and so happy. Then a Man form VENAZUELA. He has 7 years living here in mexico and he is great. Just so happy and yesterday when he got confirmed he also got a calling as the pianist. cool huh.
Then there is a really cool story about a man named jaime. So last week he just showed
up to church. We talked with him in the sacrament room about how he knew the church and
everything and then we started talking about baptisim and then invited him to be
baptized that very next week. and he said YES. So we got him all ready and all. He said
something to us when we were talking. He said im getting baptized because i want to, not
for you ni the people ni anyone else but because i want to and i know its true. He loves
the church. This week i also got a real testimony of faith and how if we have enough faith we can work miracles.
So we are very behind in our ward with the yearly goal of 45 baptisms. And this month we
had to get 8 to get back on track. So we worked very hard and with the 4 last week we hit
7 and i wanted to hit the goal of 8 soooooooooooooo bad. So i was praying
sosososososososososos hard all week for somebody to cross our path. And one day we
remembered a girl who was going to get baptized like 5 months ago but didnt cause she
moved. but we took a shot and went and found her on saturday before hte baptism and
invited her to be baptized next week. and she accepted. hooooolllllla. bendiciones up and
down. The Lord really hears us and answers our prayers if we just have faith.
WEll ya. dont have a lot of time. Love you all lots.
Love you all long time

Hola familia y amigos.
WEll thisweek was great. we had ALOT of miracles happen.
But first. yes mom. finally we have a shower WITH hot water…..and yes it works. It
sweet i take ALOT of showers just to enjoy it. SO ya the house is pretty sweet.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MO AND KATELIN: HOLLA. HAVE A GOOD ONE.
Well presidente Hansen came up this tues to do interviews and after…like a usual
treat….. took mi and my comp Elder Page to CHILES. It was sweet. we just stuffed
ourselves. And we talked about college and stuff and Pres, Hansen convinced mi to go the
BYU jerusalem after the mission. So just a heads up papis. hahahaha.
Anyway. on the the real good stuff. This week we had a baptism and this coming saturday
we have 4 more. So if we baptize all 4 this weekend we will have 9 in the Transfer. Im
stoked about that. Just working hard.
So this last baptisim was a 21 yr old named Guillermo. He has been dating a member for
4yrs (ya marriage time eh). But he has been going to the church off and on for all 4 yrs and
not even 1 elder has offered to give him the charlas, until one day i saw hm in church
and i asked my comp who he was, and he said “i think its thats girls bro or something”
but i still was not convincced. so i asked and yep. After 1 1/2 weeks of the charlas. He
was ready. It was cool. He is so humble and just willing to do what the Lord commands. It
was a great service.
So this week a mom named Delfina and her son Rey are getting baptized. they are family
members of a convert from agosto. We had a leccion with them on tues and the son-in-law
was here and said something that hit mi hard. He said that “i have no doubt that you
E.Page and you E. Minetto met my wife (whom we baptized in agosto) my other-in-law and
her son in the premortal life and promised them there, that you two were going to find
them in this life to bring them the Gospel.” that hit mi strong cause i have never
thought about that too hard. It made mi think how the Lord works and how much more these
converts are. It was cool. So that makes mi work even harder to find those whom i met
before and promised that i will fnd them so that i can fulfill my promise to.
Also this sunday we were sitting there and noticed a man we had never seen before. SO we
talked with him and all and said he had been coming to church before but went out of town
for a while and just got back and loves the church and wants to be part of it. SO right
after the church services we grabbed him and took him into a room and invited him to be
baptized this week and he said yes. So that was a huge miracle that Heavenly Father
blessed us with. It was crazyness to the maxx.
But all is well my people. Loving the mission and all about it. mom and dad. i might be
pulling out a couple extra pesos to buy one of the new bibles. they are snazzy. So
thatnks for all the support and love. Love you all.
Love you all long time

Hola fmailia y amigos.
WEll well welll. this week was a great week. first of all i cant even belive how many of
those stinkin youngens are going on the mission now. i feel…….almost old…..well
not as old as you mom and dad…jejejeje. well well well. So my comps mom checks my blog
that you guys do and says that its not to updated. Its fine. i know you are all very busy
but when you get a little free time. its not too important anyway. ejjejejeje. So right
now we are in downtown xalapa and my comp just bought a BUNCH of clothes cause he is
leaving soon from the mission and all the clothes are sooooooooooo cheap here. hahahaha
silly elder page…..alright im just kinda jealous. you know you’re a missionary when you
go crazy about COOL TIES. jejejee-.
So just to inform you all……. WE NOW HAVE THE BEST HOUSE FOR MISSIONARIES IN ALL OF MEXICO.,…..IF NOT THE WORLD.. So our ward we are in…has members pretty well-off. and we had to move out of our apt. So there is a family that builds houses for their kids so they have them when they are older. And the kid has only 5 years. So they are renting it
to us……. her is the breakdown………….. 2 STORY HOUSE……….3 bedrooms……..2 1/2 bathrooms……..a kitchen………a little tiny yard……a parking place for the car…..we dont have,
……..but it is soooooo sweet. I feel sooooo spoiled its not even funny. i feel like i really dont deserve that house…..but i cant complain. So im living like a king right now. jejejej.enough of that. to the really good stuff.
So this weeek we got the privilege to baptize 2 nietos of a member. They had been coming
to church and everyone thought they were members and i asked them and they said they
weren’t. So we dunked em. It was cool one has 10 years and the other 17. Future missionary.
Right now we have 6 people with baptisimal dates all for before the 17th of oct. So we
are working really really really hard to be worthy to receive those blessing of their
baptisims. What i have found is that you need to find those inactive familys that have
people still not baptized and then you can do 2 things at once…..reactivate and
convert. Its great cause i have learned how to solely work with the ward and members. this
whole time i have been here. we have probably knocked 3 doors……in 2 months…..its
great and that is the key to sucess.
Well Sonia, the convert from last week is doing great. She is getting her subscription to
the Liahona and her hymn book and her Book of Mormon with the D&C and Pearl of Great
Price. Her step son has his baptisamal date for the 17th of this month. Well well well
Conference was so great. i watched ALMOST all of it in English. Us gringo had to get our
own room to watch it. The stake center filled up and all the rooms in it and even the
entry ways….so there was no room for a gringo room. So we watched it in the secretary’s
office in English. But sometimes it cut out so we went to spanish. but i could understand it
all in spanish so i was not really bothered. But it was sooooo good. I have never felt
the Spirit so strong in a conferencia before. Every single one fo the talks applied to mi
personally and answered many questions i had. it was amazing how the Lord transmits those
truths to us using His choosen helpers. I really liked all those talks about LOVE and
how to be more loving. And about controlling our anger. through the mission the Lord has
shaped mi in ways i cannot describe and i know as we let these words of the apostles and
profetas seek deep into our hearts and be humble and let the Lord shape us, we can be
what he wants us to. It was a great “vacation” 2 days we had and i enjoyed every second
of it………and i didnt fall asleep once…..i know i know that’s a miracle.. jejeje.
well that is all.
There are miracles going down here in xalapa and the Lord continues to bless His
servants……man this letter seemed like it was hard to write in english. sorry if it
didnt make sense…in my head it did, jejeje. thanks for everything. you all rock my
socks. keep rocking and rollin yall.
Love you all llong time

Hola familia y amigos.
Well this week was a week of goodness. lots of spiritual things happened.
First. i will prob get my box in a couple of weeks. Its there though in the offices. And
my house right now is way better but we do not have hot water so we heat water up with a
little stove thing (like a camping on) and dump it in a bucket and shower out of the
bucket. hahahaha. Its good. i never thought i would say this but i dont actually mind
showering out of a bucket. hahaha.
Like about 2 weeks ago the Pres. and his wife and the assistants were passing through
xalapa so they called mi and my comp and took us out to eat……..it was heaven
.,…….especially cause they took us to a mall like one in the states and we ate at
CHILIES. HOOOOOOLLLLLA. it was heaven. and Presidente bought. hahaha.
Yesterday my comp and i had to give a capacitation (or training, not sure if that word
capacitation exists in english) to ALL the Ward mission leaders and ward missionaries and
1st counselor of the bishopric and the 1st counselor of the stake president. SO there
were ALOT of people…..and i was kinda stinking nervous but it all went well . Lasted
about 1 hour. of just pure mi and my comp and questions. hahaha. Good expiriences no.??..
So my comp and i were thinking baout some ways to help the zone baptize more and in the
last zone conference they talked about sending our Zone Leaders to investigators that are
going to church and have had all the charlas but dont want to accept a baptisim date. So
we did a program in our zone called ?Monta de amor?
Its were we go to this investigator who is stuck, with the whole district of the elder
and Elder Page and I go everytime. We open with a hymn to invite the spirit and then each
missionary shares his brief testimony and one of the zone leaders , mi or page, invites
them to get baptized that same week. So we tried it out this week with and elder and 2
different ones of his investagators and they both got baptized last saturday and
confirmed yesterday. Its amazing what can happen when the spirit is sooooo strong. Really
built my testimony
And we are teaching the mom and bro of my convert, isabel, from agosto. And on the first
visit we put a baptisimal date with them for the 10th and they both accepted. She said i
know its true because the first time i entered that church i felt an amazing peace and
weight lifted off my shoulders. That just showes that only the spirit will convert
someone. A quote i heard is, “the key to missionry work is to get the spirit down to the
center of someones heart so they can change, we cant force that, even God wont force that
on anyone.” they have to accept it. it will get to them but they have to accept it and
open there heart to the change.
This week we have 2 baptisims of luis and his bro Servando.
THis past week we got the opportunity to baptize Sonia. She is one of the greatest
converts EVER. My comp Elder page baptized her and i confirmed her. it was something else.
she is great and i know she will be a strong member in the church. Her Step- Son has a
baptisimal date for the17th- yayayayayyyayayayayayayayayya
Well time is runnign out. i love all of you and hope that everyday you are seeing the
Lords hand in your lives. Its there EVERY DAY. sometimes its our fault and we just dont
recognize it.
Thanks for all
Love you all long time

Hola familia y amigos.
Well this week wasn’t as eventful. But none the less every week here in the mission is
great and there are always things to say.
WEll this week we had our Noche Mexicana. It was to celebrate the independence of MEXICO.
And it went good. They had different dances from different states of mexico and it was
good. dont worry i got video. But ya it was cool. And some of the members played the guitar and sang. i know how to play a cool mexican song to. jijijijiji.
Also on saturday there was a baptism of a 8 yr old kid. So it didn’t pertain to us but
they invited us and told us to come cause the little kid invited all his friends and
there families too, to his baptisim. SO we went. And sure enough there where more
investigators then members. it was sweet. So we were able to get some rad references and
able to teach new people. That was cool.
Well one of the highlights this week was the Multi-Zone Conference we had in a city 2
hours north called Tezuitlan. It was our zone and theirs. And the new zone leader there
is one of my buddys form my generation, Elder Moyar. He just went up. So that we cool to
see him. Him and his comp taught the majority in the conference and we only had to do a
practice.
This is funny what we did, mi and Elder Page for the practice in front of the 2 zones.
So the practice had to be about committing someone to do something, like baptism or read.
And My comp and i figured almost everyone knows how, its like “will you read’ or
“will you get baptized the 28th of sept.” So mi and my comp demonstrated it in a
different way. We did commitment like to ask a girl to be your girlfriend….hahhahaha.
The first one was Elder Page doing a bad commitment with mi( the girl). i grabbed the
mission presidents wife’s purse and played the girl.. and I totally shut him down cause he
was like “well if you want to like maybe would try to be my girlfriend.” and i said no
Then i played the guy and did a GOOD commitment on him (hahahaha thats how us minettos
roll) and Elder Page played the girl. and i looked him dead in the eyes and totally
committed him to being my girlfriend. hahahahahahaha. it was funny and everyone loved it
and they all got a good lesson through it. It was good practice for after the mission
to. hahahahahahaha.
Ya that is pretty much it. Good times. we got video of it dont worry. hahahaha. well that
is all .this week is the baptism of Sonia. YEEEEHEHHHHHHHHH. It will be awesome. will
write about it next week. thanks for all.
Love you all long time

Hola familia y amigos.
Well this week was great. Just got back form playing tennis with a member that is really
well off in a PRIVATE CLUB. yep got a little taste of the STATES. it was sweet. It felt
sooooooo good playing tennis again. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
First off. thanks Gma and Gpa for the sweet box.
And happy birthday GPA. You go get em tiger. still a youngen in my eyes. hahahah.
Well this week was crazy. First off. now it is raining EVERYDAY here in the afternoon.
And one of the days we were working in a really humble part of the city with no Paved
roads and it started POURING. But soooo hard. And we had to leave this one persons house
cause we had an interview to do. so we took off running and everything was flooding. and
we got to a part where it was super flooded to my comp Elder Page started jumping from
rock to rock to not fall in. ( and i was just watching) hahaha. and then he fell and the
water was up to his knees ish. So he started running fast to get out of the water…..then
he TRIPPED and went almost all the way under water. hahahah . so funny. so i put my life
guard skills???? into practice and went in after him. For a while we were in water up to
our knees. EVERYTHING got soaking wet. oh well. you can always get dry. hahaha
Well Sonia is progressing goood. Normaly we would have already dropped he cause she
still is too scared to accept a baptismal date. but she is sooooooo good. She even wears
a DRESS to church. How AWESOME is that. But she is way good. And will be a strong member
in the church. she even signed up to give us lunch. here we dont eat dinner with the
members. its lunch. we dont eat dinner usually…sometimes just a bag of chips or cookies
or something healthy like that. hahahaha. but it is crazy. She is awesome
Well we had a Zone Leader Council in Veracruz this week. it was SOOOOOOOOOOOO good.
SOOOOO good. And i got to see the elder that baptized the rest of the Matis family from
my first area(the family to whom you sent the box to) and he baptized some other families
that i got to start. Crazy huh. so it was a good reunion for us to meet and see
each other. He showed mi all the fotos of the baptism and it really made mi soooo happy.
I know that the Lord works on His timing . We are great friends now. The elders Name is
Elder Maya. great Elder. He said the all the people talked a lot about mi there. hahahaha.
silly.
In the consejo (council) we talked a lot about PRIDE. Something that us all missionaries have a
problem with. But it was good. We really learned that we need to be moldable. And let God
mold us into the people he wants us to be. when we hold grudges against people and not
like them for some reason we are being prideful. It was a great leaccion. and really
taught mi a lot. i love this place and i think i want to be mexican. SO you might have on
e when i get home. hahahaha. na i love the Lords work and only hope to be the Missionary
that the Lord wants mi the be.
Love you all an thanks for everything.
Love you all long time!

Hola familia y amigos.
WEll this has been an interesting week. SO first is first. Let mi explain the title. So
what happened is ELder page and i got a call form presidente on tues and he said that we
were going to get a kid………….And my comp was super excited because he had NEVER
had a kid. And i was also excited. But i wasnt to sure were the third elder was going to
sleep and stuff. But we were excited and all. THem Yesterday we get a call and they said
one of the elders got hurt and couldnt come SO we will not be getting him. But he will
only be there for a couple more weeks, depending on the seriousnes of the situation. But
we still might get him in the middle of the transfer. SO that was the reason for the
title. And Elder Page and i couldnt figure out who was the mom and who was the dad.
Either me or him . hahahahah
WEll im a little sad caus3e my little buddy ELDER HOLMAN is taking off to COATZACOALCOS.
But he will love it there. i really loved it. Even though i was not directly in
coatza… i loved it. ANd its HOT there. he will have fun.
This week was crazy cause we were working 2 areas but on completely opposite sides of the
city. Super far. cause we had the area of us and of Elder Phipps that was with us all
week. it was fun though. TOmorrow is the start of the new cambio. And an elder from my
generation is coming to my zone. ELder Harris. he is wayyyyyy cool. im exctied. and 4
eldders from my generation went up as zone leaders to. So cool. So i will see them on
friday at the zone leader council. Im way excited. They are all really great elderes.
THis week we got to baptize someone in the other Elderes area cause he is our companion
now. SO we got to help alot with this baptisim. It was one fo the most spiritual baptisim
i had been to. It was a dad named ESAU (try to say that one mom) hahahaha. and his wife
and one kid are members but inactive. so these eldderes found them and activated them but
the dad did not owant ANYTHING to do with the church. But they baptized one of the other
kids. Then the dad strarted to get interested and the elders (elder Phipps and Chrislieb)
started working miracles. And then us thress taught alittle to him and he decided to get
baptized. In the service the SPirit was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo strong. The wife
gave her testimony and everyone is crying and when she got done her husband gave her a
huge hug and said Te quiero. it was amazing cause about 3 weeeks earlier they almost got
divorced but the GOSPEL PRINCIPLES SAVED THEIR MARRIAGE. What i have realized alo tin the mission is that when a husband and wife have the same goal, Eternal life, Then the
marriage goes more easy. Still will have there fare share of trials but it is alot more
easy to get through those trails with a family based on the Gospel Principles. Its
something so awesome. I would never trade these moments i have seen in familys for
anything. When the mom and dad are one, like it says in D&C, everything can work. Its
cool. i kinda like this gospel…hahahhha. ok i love it. well thats about it.
this week we are going to baptize a little girl katy. WEll all is well .
THAnks for al lthe love and support and letters. you all rock. sorry if i havent respnded
to the letters vary fast. i will get better hopefully.
Love you all long time

Hola familia y amigos.
How is everything going. Well this week was great. We had a lot of great experiences that
keep the faith going.
Well first thing. WE had a little going away lunch today for elder holman, at a place
called asadero cien and got burgers and then went to dairy queen across the street. WE
all think he is leaving this transfer. boooooooooooooo. but oh well.
Then we did divisiones this week again it was all just rocking and rolling until i got
sick on friday and was dying all day. I was working the whole day with a body ache, the
runs, and a fever of 102. hahahahahaha. it was alright. cant say it was the coolest
thing. hahahah. well ya.
Right now we are working in a trio. We are with another Elder called Elder Phipps. he is
another Gringo. so the people look at us even MORE in the street. its funny! GRINGOS
together tearing up the streets of xalapa. yay. But its fun. His comp went home last
week for knee problems, so he will be with us for the next week until the cambios.
Well the main part of the letter i will fill with a really neat experience that i will
never ever forget.
So we have 2 Sisters in our zone. And they have been teaching this family of 3, mom, dad,
and 10yr girl. Well they have been teaching them for about 1 month now and they want to
get baptized but the mom and dad dont want to get married. so Last week on sunday when we
were taking dates we were talking about this family AGAIN. And i really wanted to help
them but didnt know how. But i got the impression that my comp and i needed to go with
them to a lesson to teach. So we went with them on tues to the lesson. We entered the
humble house of sticks and dirt floor and sat down and started the lesson. we were all
teaching and The Spirit was so strong in the whole lesson. By the end of the lesson we
left the commitment for them as a couple to talk about what they really wanted for there
family and about there marriage. We left with hugs(handshakes with the ladies) and left.
On Wed evening i get a call form one of the Sisters, she was crying. I asked her what was
wrong and she said “elder minetto, they said yes, they want to get married and
baptized.” they are going to get baptized this weekend.
It was an experience i will NEVER forget. To watch the Spirit and only the Spirit converts
these peoples hearts was amazing. Im grateful i can be an instrument in the Lords hands.
Thanks for everything family and friends. i hope we can all realize the importance of the
families and how much they mean to our Father in Heaven.
Love you long time

Hola familia y amigos
Well this is going to be pretty short.
This week was great. I ate some KFC….yep that is right…….straight gooodness, with a
convert and her husband. It was deliscios. But and also today we had a preparation day
zone activity today. We had a nice little BBQ (well mexican style)and played soccer. it
went awesome. We all had soooooooooo much fun. But we all know the ANY mexican is
wayyyyyyy better then the Gringo. hahahahaha. But it was a blast
WEll this week we got the privilege to baptize a kid named Ricardo. He is a neat
experience really. He has 14 yrs and doesnt know how to read. SO he was really worried
about getting baptized cause he felt like he didnt know enough. but we told him that he
needs to trust in the Lord and have faith. SO he had his interview and the whole time i
was just praying that he would got through with his baptisim and he came out of that
interview sooooo excited to get baptized. it was cool. And a VARY humbling experiences.
We are also teaching this Lady and her kid named Sonia and Angel. They were a reference
from CANADA. WEEEEE GOOOO CANADA. (shout out to all my canadian friends) hahahah. Her husband is there in canada and got baptized there and wants his wife to to get baptized.
So we went and she told us how she goes to all these other churches and still feels empty
like she doesnt feel good still, and then she started crying, and she says that she feels
good right then. And so we challenged her to get baptized and she accepted. She will be a
great person in the church and she is way excited.
SO in the zone we have put a goal……..the goal is to INVITE the investigators to get
BAPTIZED on the FIRST leasson. the FIRST. THen if we didnt put a for sure date on the
first visit. on the second they need to have a FOR SURE DATE. THis helps us not be scared
to invite them and it helps them know why we are there. And helps us to we dont waste to
much of the LORDS time with people who really dont want the Gospel. wEll that is all have
fun familiy. sounds like oregon is still rockin like usual. wheeeeee.
Thanks for all
Love you all long time
