Well this week was a great week. So daddy. You are trying to kill mi eh. Well i get home the 1st of july…….ahhhhh man i hate syaing that. Boooooo. hahahaha. but ya. so just do your thing. Hey can i go to pick up katelin or what??? that would be soo fun to meet all her converts and talk in spanish togoether. hahaha.
So this week are transfers and………. im staying another one………NOT. Im leaving. I totally thought that i was going to stay cause usually pres tell mi before but he didnt tell mi anything jsut about some of the other changes in the zone. But i got the word on saturday night and pres called mi last night and told mi and gave mi the down low on the zone and we talked about my missionaries that will be in my zone.
So im going to veracruz. Where the offices are and there are 2 zones there.i will have the north zone. And there are 24 missionarys in my zone.RIght now i have 14 missoinaries inmy zone. ahhhhh. un buen mas. But it will be alot cooler. But im sad to leave xalapa cause i have grown to love it but God has other plans for mi. And also one of bestest buddys in the mission and in the world….elder carter will have the south zone. And mi and him get really competitive with eachother….. so its going to be sweet. I let pres know that,that was pure revelation. hahahaha. its kinda downright now my new zone but it will be on fire starting tomorrow. holla.
So yesterday i gave my goodbye testimony in church and it was huge huge day in church. We had 165 people in church. It was one of the greatestblessings in my mission. I have had the blessingof watching this ward grow like crazy. When i got here there was not that greatof asistance, llike 100 or so. And now they are going to divide the ward. I can reallly see the Lord working in the ward. When i stood up to give my testimony and i said, well im going on tues, at that moment i saw a bunch of people start to cry and i was looking at them and seeing who they were and in that moment the spirit bore testimony to mi that us as missionaries are only tools and instruments in the Lords hand and that ONLY the Spirit can touch peoples hearts to convert them, the missionary just carrys the messege and is the mouith piece for the Lord. It was a great expiernce.
This past week we had the opportunity of baptizing 3 people. there names are refael and lilian and carlos. Its a family of 4. the mom is elda. They were all going to get baptized this weekend but the moms work schedule changed and she worked sunday so wej just baptized the kids and the mom will get baptized next weeek. She said, no just baptize my kids cause they are vary anxious and mi next weeek. So all is well. it is a great family and vary humble are they are so eager to learn and progress.
WEll i havent actually gotten the packeges buti think they are in the offices. hahaha. iwill let you all know next week better. and in that colony the dogs all say to mi….”whad up dawg” hahahaha. well i love you all and thank you all for the love and support.

Hello hellos and hello. So this week was pretty sweet. We had sooooooooo much fun and just worked vary hard. SO it has been pretty cold here and all. But its going. Im still loving it and everyone makes fun of mi cause im the one who has the most cold here.
Not sure if i wrote this last week but that one family, the familia Dominguez, Last week one of there sons who went to BYU and was a MTC teacher made us Fettechini Alfredo. Cause the dad and i had a little bet going on that if we baptized over 10 for the month of January, then he would make us that cause i told him that it was by far my favorite food and it really doesnt exist here. And so one day he invited us over and it was Shrip Fettechini with a oil salad and Martenellis and oat and grain bread. I was in heaven. AHHHHHHHHHh. And yes i took a couple of pics. Hahahahaha.
Well the Lord has really been blessing this area and using us a His tools to help alot of people and its a humbling expierrnce. Cause as we allow the Spirit to guide us, we are able to find those people who are willing to ^listen to His voice and not harden thier hearts^.
This week we got the opportunity to baptize 3 people. One of those was a man named Ivan. He is a politition. (i think that is how you spell it). But he works with another member and he is awesome. Our ward mission leader gave us the reference and told us he has already been to church and he was sure if we invite him to get baptized he would do it. SO in the leasson we had on tues, we invited him for the next week, but then the ward mission leader, Duval, said to him? `Ivan i would like to challenge you to get baptized this week so that you wont be any longer without the Holy Ghost? and so that you can recive more blessings`. And mi and my comp just looked at eachother like, You are da man. Hahahahahaha. Showed us up. That was a testimony builder to have more `mission urgency`.
Also we got to help mauricio and the hna maria luisa. They are great. They live n a colony where we have been workng alot lately . Its funny cause in this colony there are like 30 members of the church and the colony has like 100 people in it. And they were all inactive almost. But we have helped reactivate almost all of them and we keep pulling baptisims out of it cause these members, when they get reactiviated they feel something so espacial that they want to share it so they are just firing references at us left and right and Mauricio and Maria Luisa are from that colony. Its great. When we go in all the kids yell? `hermanos, hola hermanos` and everyone knows us. Even the dogs. Hahahaha .
But this week was great and i have seen soooooo many miricles in this area. This week i talked in sacrement mtg about courege.It was great. I learned alot upon preparing it. Like how the best missionaries in the Book of Mormon, Alma and Amulek, has sooooo much courege that they went in to the temples and churches of the other religons to preach. We dont(thank goodness, even though it could be fun) but they Trusted in the promeses of God that if we just OPEN our mouths and trust God, He WILL help us. He has to help us. THis i now is true and i promise you all to just to OPEN your mouth on the bus or in the store. Its not easy, but we got God on our side. Give it a go and see the blessings come. WEll well. THis week hasd been a sweet week. Last month was awesome and whenever i get to a new month i just get pumped to find more and more and to baptize more. I love putting goals at the beginning of the month to see what God wants mi and my comp to achive in this month and its interesting casue almost always i have no idea how im going to do it but i just trust in the Lord and His promeses that He has made with us and ya. ROck and
Roll time.
So mom………IMPORTANTE……..So my buddy here from the misison will not be going to BYUI. He didnt get regestered on time………… so could you ask JEFF BECK if he will be there next fall and if he will let mi have the blessed oppoertunity and honor and joy of rooming with him.(made that sound good huh) ahahhahaha PRETTY PLEASE. Thanks. and i will just live where ever he is going to live. thanks. Wherever is fine. spanks mommy.
So we got a surprise on tues. The asistants called us and told us that we had to be in veracruz for a conferencia on thurs and they wouldnt tell us why or for what. EVERYONE
thought that a general autoritdad was going to come. And veracruz is like 2hours from here. So we went and got thwere and realized that slot of the zones where there. ANd then more and more showed up and then we realized that they were all there. The whole mission. It was sweet to see everyone and i saw Elder Holman to. It was a sweet reunion. THat kid is the man and he is in a pretty hard area but he is going to rock it up. SO there were
sumores that pres. monson was there and like DONNY OSMAND. hahahaha. but no one came. What happened was that we are going to have a big change in the mission. on 1st of july they are going to cut off half the msisison and add to the north and also make a new
mission in the south called the mision mexico Villahermosa. So about 60 froom our mission will be going there. Its pretty crazy. But i wont be affected to im not thinking about it at all really….but elder holman si. hahahaha. but it was a sweet comnf.
So this sunday we had alot of investigators show up to church and alot of familys. It was cool to seee them demonstrating there faith and go to church. We are teaching a sweet family of 4 that will be getttng baptized next week along with some other individualss. The family is a mom who si called elda and her 3 kids. They are sooooo willing to learn and do the things they need to do to beable to live as a eternal family. They are a pretty humble family but all have big hearts.
This week we will have the opportunity to baptize 2 super humble people but awesome. One his name is mauricio and he is 20 and lives solo in a house of lamina…..like tin. Its a really poor colony but he is so ready and awesome. He is always with a member that we reactivated and they are doing great together. So he is stoked.
The other lady is a lady named Maria Luisa. She is a single mom of 3. All her kids are members and she had always wanted to get abptized but she was living with her
husband….not married. Her husbanmd passed away a while ago and she wants to get baptized and she wants to be able to go to the temple to be able to do the work for her husband. The whole time at church on sunday she was inviting EVERYONE to her baptisim and telling them that she was going to get baptized. hahahahaha. It was cool. she is way pumped.
The Work is going awesome here and the Lord is really clessing the people and preparing them to hear His gospel. Its cool cause i can really feel that mi and my comp are
actually workng in a trio…..mi, my comp,a nd the spirit. And then the spirit jsut guides us on who we need to talk to and if they are prepared of not. Its amazing how God
works thorugh the spirit. WEll i love you all lots and hope you are all opening your mouths to share the gospel with all the chances you get. Yesterday we had testimony mtg
and a kid of 6 yrs stood up and said in his testimony……¨i know that not just the elderes can invite people to church, but us as members can do it to¨….So money and
such an example. well all is well. keep safe and keep on keepin on-

Well this week and month have been miricles.
WEll i will just cut to the chase cause when i get here i just blank out and alll the week seems like one huge blur.
oh funny thing happened. SO we were eating with some other elders and elder carter was there, it was right after an interview i had to do for them and so it was super early in the morning and so they gave us breakfast and i love the hot food and chile. And so does elder carter and so we always argue about who eats the most. So we decided to figure it out right then and he dared mi to eat a huge spoon full of chile seco…..its pretty hot. So i did and then he did it to but we both just stopped after the first one cause my gastritis was burning inside and i thought i was going to die. hahahahah. but it was funny.
So this week we got the privalige to baptize 6 people. It was a fmaily of 4 and a little girl and a joven of 16 yrs. They are all miricles. SO the girl is called Karla and her mom was baptized about 13yrs ago and had been
inactive for like 8yrs. So we found her by a reference from her gma and i was talking to her gma and asking for a reference and she wouldnt give us one cause she said that she didnt know any one who would be interested. So i was like ¨any of your neighbors, aunts uncles, friends……¨and i got to the point where i was just playing with her cause i figured she wouldnt give us one and so i got bored and when i get bored i just mess with people. hahaha. so i just kept asking and asking and my comp was looking at mi like i was crazy……But then i was like, oh well you win gma ad gave up. And she was like well if
you want you can visit my daughter. sO we went and foound Karla who was vary ready. That was a testimony builder that we need to be persistant and patient. hahahahaha. and have fun. hahaha
Also we baptized a kid called Martin. He has 16yrs and is the only one of his family that got baptized. He is the man and is trying to beat mi in reading the Book of Mormon. So
his sister is getting baptized nezxt week and his mom surprised him and went to hs baptized and she felt the spirit soooo strong and cried and said she loved it and wants to learn more and so we are going to baptize her soon. But Martin is one of the most noble kids i know. And will be a future missionry. He is going to baptize his sister.
weeeee. WEll the family of 4 we baptized was quite a struggle but it was worth it all. So the adversary really worked hard on them and even used the guy who gave us the reference to tell us that they were not ready to get baptized and to not baptize them. It was crazy.
Probably one of the most stressful weeks ever. But with lots of prayer and fasting all went well. The mom is called MArisela and her 4 kids David, Israel,Sarah,Omar. The dad
comes home every 15 days and didnt want them to get baptized and they actually were supposed to get baptized on saturday but they didnt cause the dad locked them in the house, but we went over there that same night and the hna Marisela talked with her husband and he said it was fine. SO we baptized them sunday morning and the Water was FREEZING and so one of the kids didnt get baptized. hahaha. poor kid. BUt it was a bautiful expirence to see the family come togehter to put the example for the dad and i know that the dad will join the church. Its a great humble family that just want to do the right.
I love this work and love being and instrument in HIS hands. thanks for everything. love you all.

Well im sorry for not really writing you guys that much last week but I wrote the sweetest letter ever with some wayyyy cool expirences and all but it got cancelled and
then it wa time to go. Hahahaha.
So the last week a member form the ward from that same family surprised mi and my comp and picked us up on last Monday and didn’t tell us where we wre going……pure
blessings by the way. So then he took us out the breakfast….some good ole empanadas and tostadas and just pure antojitos. Ahhhh. Then he said….elder minetto…you need new shoes and im buying you some today. Cause the new soles didn’t last vary long. So we
looked everywhere and oculdnt find my size….evrytime we would ask for my size there eyes would get huge and just laugh. Hahahaha. So we got permission from pres to go into a mall and finally found my size….and they were sooooooo expensive. But yep. That family rocks. And mom they says thank you vary vary much…the mom, hna corina freaked out when she got the package and ripped it open. And they loved it. Thanks.
So this week I got NO sleep at all. So the first thing was my comp got sick on wed night and had to go to the hospital at 10pm at night and the awesome family…familia
Dominguez. And the hospitals here are HORRIBLE. So we left there at 130am and got to sleep by 230am. We thought he had apendisidis….but he didn’t…just A LOT
of……brown stuff backing him up. Hahahaha. That was the nicest way to put it. Hahaha. Couldn’t think of anything else. Hahaha. Then the next night we had to deal with some elder. So no sleep but who even needs sleep….honstally I wil be way tireed but when we
get to a leasson I just wake up androcka nd roll. So all is well…..hahahahaha.
So on Sunday we had a great day at church. I really learned about having patience but persistence. So we are teaching a family of 5 and they needed to go to church and Sunday to get baptized but they had some trouble with the dad and she told mi that none of them were going to be able to go. So we helped her realize the importance of the church and having faith and told her to go inside and talk with her husband again. And like 5min
passed and she and all her kids came out ready to go to church. And they all went. On Sunday we had the blessing of havning 11 investigators in the church and they all have baptisimal dates. I have realized that if we are following the Spirit, then things just become more clear and easy.
This past week we got the p`rivalige to baptize a kid named brayan. It was a cool expirience. so we were ruching to an appt and i suddenlly got the impression to turn around and walk back down that same street, i looked at my watch and realized we would be late but i remembered when the presidente told mi to try to obey the impressiones on the first one.So i did and we started walking right back down that same street without
knowing where we were going…..as we were walking we ran into a inactive member of the church and started talking to us and she told us that there was one of her neighbors that was sick and she wanted us elderes to go by to visit her. So we went right over there and
started talking to her and she was not a member but her 1 of 2 sons were. And then we met her other son brayan. We talked with him and he had been to church alot but could never get baptized cause of his age. So he then immidatally accepted a baptisimal date and got baptized 2 days ago. If we just act upon the impressiones of the spirit right away, it will allow us to have theat 3rd companion and have more success. its something all us
missionarys lack at times….we think we can do it all ourselves. It is something that I have been personally been working on a lot and as I get the impressions , I find that God just guides us right to the baptisims…I don’t know how but he just guides us and gives us the impressions and we act upon them and it just happens. But the trick is to do it to the best of our ability so that God can count on us.
Well I love this gospel and all that it provides for us and greatful that I can be with the minetto gang for ever. Hahaha. Love you all and thanks for the support.

DANG IT. So i just got done writing the coolest letter with the 2 coolest expiriences ever. ……But the computer lab went out of service and the lights shut off and it all
erased before i could do anything. Boooooooooo. oh well . and now i have no time. gotta work. So i will wirte it all next week. hahaha expect a novel next week then.
hahahahaaha. but i love you all and hope all is well. hahahah. lov this work and how the spirit guides us evryday. we just need to live right and seek for the impressions. And mom. I should already have my spot for fall. thats what they told mi. but thanks and love you all.

I gotta do this email fasty fast. Cause i got to get out and work. SO just to let you all nknow that im dying of coldness. i never thought i would be saying that im dying of cold here in mexico. But its like 10 degress here….in celcius I have no idea what that is in ferenheit.
But im loving those thermals you sent mi. i thougt i would never need them….but a mother ALWAYS knows best. I think God knows mi best then……mommy. hahahahahahaha. yep.
Oh about the shoes daddyo. Well i took them to a shoe dude who fixes them and he put new soals on them for 150 pesos….olike 13 bucks. THey look kind of funny now, but work. lets see how long they last. weeeee-
well just 2 little great miricles that happened this week and the Lords touching this wonderful work.
So a niño Luis angel got bapized this weeek and we had the opportunity to help not only him but also his inactive family. It was a great expirience cause they were having lots of problems and stuff but as the all grew sooooo close with the goal of luis angels baptisim…everything changed. It was amazing the power of the faith of a little 9yr and
his decision to take a baptisim had such a great affect on his whole family. Its kinda liike the story of jose smith. SUcha young but valient kid…changed everything. We need more kids a youth in this world like that now a days.
The other was my homie friend…ricardo. He was one of these valient kids that is also trying to help his family. His mom, who is not a member, wnated us to help her son
ricardo and her family. Because he has 14 years and was already pretty lost. So we went and Ricardo….who we thought was going to be the hardest ….ended up bieng the most valient and humble of them all. The mom and sister still want to get baptized but they have not yet recognized ¨a more excelente way¨as the scripture says. But this kid was in a gang and all. So my brotha from another motha. We even started our own ¨mormon
gang¨the VLM…..Vato Loco Mormones. hahahaahahahaha. have someone trnaslate it.. But i
will send you pics next week. Its cool caue everytime he prays….he says ¨i pray for my mom and sis so that they can get baptized soon too¨. great example of faith.
Wel family the work is going and the Lord is touching this area and helping us beyond what our own hands could ever do. My new comp is coming tomorrow along with lots of new ones too. It wil rock. ,y new comp is eldeer Del rincon.He s money.

Well let mi just tell you about the 31st. So nothing happend. Here they go crazy with fireworks and that are homemade and are definittaly not mother approved. hahahahaha. So all night kids were lighting off fireworks and we would just watch and laugh. And little
kids of 4-5 years lighting fireworks…..hmmmmm somehting isnt right there. but we had to get in early cause EVERYONE gets drunk here. So we had to be in early. hahahahaha. Then on the 1st of januray everyone is hung-over…..so there isnt alot of work so we
basically got a preparation day. In the morning the whole zone met at the church and we played …….soccer. HOOOORAW MEXICO. Then we set up a projector and watched 2 movies of the world….ohhhhhh was that sweet. we watched Kung fu Panda..hahahahahha
hiliarious…..my life story basically. hahahah not. and National Tresure 2. it ws sweetness. dont worry presidnte allowed it. hahahahaha. and oh ya……we ate costco
pizzzzzzzzza yummmm. You know i got to take advantage of that pizza goodness. so ya. it was bhombness.
And about the changes…..im not leaving yet. the changes are next week. but the presidnte usually tells the zone leaders 2 weeeks before. But before i had a district to focus on and the zone. so it was like district leader and zone leader. Now im just going to be Zone leader. So i get to focus on the pure zone. it will be nice…….and
stressful. hhahahahaha. So i will be doing my 5th transfer here. weeeeehoooo. all the members joke with mi saying i should just buy my own property and build a house.
hahahaha.
WEll this week was amazing. WE got those both couples nmarried and it was greta to see how the Lord helped us do it and how he put the medios to do so. On saturday Johanna got baptized and all the poeple form her little colonia came to support and alot of people who are just getting active again in the church. It was a great service.
Then on sunday morinnig we had the baptism of Raul. He had to quick smoking and drinking and he just did it all. It was just the prefect timing for him and his wife( a member) gave her testimnoy to him and said some vary great things that really invited the Spirit. They were both great and to see these 2 once inactive familias get active again and have there loved ones join the church was great.
THis week will be the baptisim of a gangster man….ricardo….we get along great. he is way tight. and a kid luis angel. I will keep you all updated next week.

freaks out about those handwarmers you sent mi and are sooooooo amezed. its cause they dont exist here. hahahahah. And i am jus paying some dude to put new soles on my shoes for 15 bucks 150 pesos instead of buying new ones. hehehehehehe.thanks for all.

So this is going to be short becasue i only have a half prep. day.
But i really enjoyed talking to you guys on christmas day. it really made mi a little trunky but then…..nope. hahahhahaha it was great to hear that everyone is doing
sooooooooo good and to hear that little Roman STILL doesnt want to talk with his coolest uncle ever. i think i wil forgive him some day.
WEll this week waws crazy. we didnt get those familes married for a couple of reasones but today we just got back from the place to marry them and all the paper work is in there and they are both getting married tomorrow in the morning. The one man Raul has such huge faith. He works ALOT and is just going to leave work to get married and to get baptized…..that is faith.
Also something that has changed my mission has been the act of putting Baptisimal Dates in the FRIST visit. But baptisimal date for like 2 weeks later. Mi and one of my bestest friends ever in the mission …..elder carter.. were talking on friday and saying why dont we put the baptisimal dates on street contacts……So we did it on saturday and we put 3 baptismal dates on just street contacts and he put 4. So what got mi pumped to do
this is the scpripture in moroni 8:14 or 16. one of the 2. that talks about not having fear and talking with power and valor. THat is what we al need to have…..especially as missionarys but also as members of the church to open our mouths and talk to the poeple. ….. not saying that you guys need to put baptisimal dates and street contacts…….although it would be sweet….but just talk to your friends and familiy and hook the missionaries up with references.
