Hola familia y amigos.

WEll well well. This has been something else. So i am here in my new area. My new area is called LAS BRISAS. its a really cool area…..hahahah play on words. So its stinkin hot here. bueno. not really. But compared to xalapa…….its hot. Its really flat and all so that is a little nicer but im already shedding the pounds. Hahahaha. Oh and yes we got the packeges, thank you sooo much and elder del Rincon LOVED his package. He was freaking out and all the elders were sooooooo jealous. Elder Del Rincon said that it was the FIRST package he has ever recived in his whole mission and he has more time then mi in the mission. But he loved it. Thanks for that mommy and pappi.

So my new comp is named elder castillo. he is from san luis Potosí. Its a state here in México. He is way cool. He has about 13 or 14 months in the misión. He is really good and he is almost my height. Not like my last comp. But he is cool. He actually reminds mi of a Tongan. Hahahahhaaha. But we are going to have fun.
Its going to be a great challenge this zone. Because it hasn’t been doing to good for the past like ½ year or so and so that is why im here. And it has soooo much potential. There are a lot of elders really really good here and just need to come out of there shells and get out of there comfort zones and get to the Lords work. It is going to be a blast. I heard a phrase one time that is ¨there is no growth in the comfort zone, and no comfort in the growth zone¨. So that is what we are all working on. We have some really good goals and with the help of God, we will reach them. These are goals that we set by asking God. Its cool.

So I had a really spiritual experience this week. We had the Zone leader’s conference here in the mission office. So we were talking about putting a goal for the next 4 months for the mission because they are going to split the mission when I end my mission and making a new one. So we were putting goals for the mission and deciding on the number and an elder said ¨why don’t we just ask God and see what he wants us to do¨. So in my whole mission that is what we have been doing my whole mission. Before we put a monthly goal as companionship we always ask the Lord and then get the number of how many he wants us to baptize. So we did a prayer right then and there as zone leaders. And the president. And when the elder started to say the prayer I felt it and I felt the number of people we needed to baptize as a mission and how many the Lord wanted us to baptized. President stood up and wrote the number on the board and it was the same one I felt and then the elder prayed again to confirm with God if that was correct. And I wish you could have all felt what was being felt on that day inside that room with al the zone leaders. It was a experience I will NEVER forget and they are times like that that we all need to hold on to during those difficult time. When we have problems and just are feeling bad and loosing hope…..we need to remember those times when we felt the spirit the most strongly and build our testimony with them. That is why the prophets in the Book of Mormon are saying ¨o remember, remember¨

So this week mi and my comp worked super super hard. It was crazy. My comp told mi he hadn’t seen these numbers in a while. This week we were going to baptize but there was no water in the church and the bishop just told us to wait until the next week. We were going to go to the beach and just baptize him there but decided in the Lords house is better. His name is icidrio. Also this week we will have a couple more baptisims. But it’s a different type of work here but just awesome. Like it says in Preach my Gospel ¨there is no substitute for hard work¨. This week we just listened to the spirit and followed the impressions and we put a lot of baptisimal dates. What we have been helping the zone a lot right now is just putting baptisimal dates in every moment. In the taxi in the bus in the store….especially in the first leasson. And in the street contact.
I love the mission and all the things we are able to learn if we are but humble and listen to the whisperings of the spirit. We just need to work like every day was our last day….cause one day it will be. I lava you all a lot. You all rock. Thanks for the letters and packages.

Love you all long time
Elder Minetto
